Purchased a eVic, love it! 1.1 Ohm Nano Coil at 5v Hits like a charm! 8)
But, with a IGO-W3 I can't do Sub Ohms. Sad, Sad, Day...
So! I'm thinking of buying a K101 and Sony VTC4 18650.
Any suggestions for Quad Coil Builds? Different mod, Battery, Coil Type?
Safety Is A Concern, As I Have A Ohms Meter, Both For 501 Connections
And A Pin With + & - Connectors. Any help is good, may sell my eVic for
Money to get the stuff, or keep it as a 18650 charger... :rickroll:

If you're thinking about getting into mechanical mods and rebuildables, the most important thing is to do research, especially if you plan on subohming. Watch a bunch of YouTube videos. Then watch some more. Check out grimmgreen on YouTube, he's pretty good. Get a ohm calculator app too. Make sure your builds aren't exceeding your battery limits.

A K-101 with the Sony battery is a good start, make sure you buy a good quality charger also. The Xtar and Nitecore are highly recommended. Hang on to your evic, and ease into the dual - quad coils, keeping the ohms up a bit higher as you practice and gain experience. You may find that oddly enough the 1.1 ohm nano coil is what gives you the best flavor and vapor. Find your own sweet spot, for flavor, heat and vapor, when that ahhhh moment happens the numbers of ohms, watts, amps are secondary....:vapor:

Yea, I've come to that conclusion myself. for ME, it's 1.6 ohm single coil 32 gague kanthal at 10 watts. Of course, I'm not a cloud chaser.

have I sub ohmed, yes, have I dual coil sub ohmed, yes. my dripper now has .6Ωx2@26g kanthal. It produces clouds of vapor on my 20a battery w/mech mod, yet it collects dust. :) a modest 1.6 ohm single coil using 32 gague kanthal is my sweet spot. :)

LOL, I enjoy a good 1.8Ω with 30 ga @ 8-9 watts, the coil last forever, easy to dry burn. Sub-ohm is a bit fiddley, I found the cost / reward ratio disappointing....:)

That's the beauty of this build. I rebuilt my coil about 3 days ago. I use a clean burning juice. I won't even have to worry about it for another 2 weeks. There's something to be said about a filling and going and not even have to think twice. I walked in on a b&m store once while they were having a "tutorial day". about 10 vapers there talking about how to rebuild coils, etc... I just watched for a few vaping on my old AGA-T... what they didn't know, is that coil I had was about 3 weeks old, and was still putting out good vapor and flavor. :)

I really can't agree with this more. Don't know your experience level but please, please know what you're doing with mechs and sub ohms. If you're not 100% sure then ask. Do your research and keep yourself safe.
