I'm looking to get a new setup. I currently have 2 Vision Spinner 2s with an AeroTank 2 but you know how it is, I need more things! LOL I'm a lady that isn't into shoes but get me into a vape store and I'll go crazy shopping:laugh:

Anyway, I've been looking at the iStick 30 watt with a Kanger Subtank Mini. Is this a good setup?

Sounds good, but since you already have ego type batteries, I think it's time for you to upgrade to a replaceable battery mod.

I would say that is good, yes. In fact, I just "liked" the idea of the subtank nano to somebody in the UK who doesn't want the RBA deck.
I'd agree with the nano to avoid confusion, but to have that deck to start building one day would be nice. I'd advise a box / screen readout mod to get used to those figures. Mvp 3 just came out.

I'd say that's a good upgrade. It's just small enough to carry around town. I've actually been thinking about getting me that same set up just for going out and about doing errands and stuff. But if your really into vaping and are going to be doing it long term I'd suggest getting an rda and a sigelei 100wplus. Ever since my buddy gave me a tugboat clone I've been in love with this rda and how it preforms.

A istick 30w and a subtank mini is still a good choice though. I'd say the rda and sigelei 100wattplus because out of all the money I've spent I wish I would have just gone straight to the 100watt plus to vape on at home, and an istick 30w/50w and a subtank mini for going out and doing things. However with the rda you'd have to learn how to build your own coils, and with the sigelei you'd have to buy some good batteries/charger.

I like anything that is 100W+ but yet again thats just me and my budget. Like Demiurgous said, its always nice to have a little room for growth. RDAs are for those that want really big clouds or a punch full of flavor, i think. One thing i've figured is that if you have high nicotine content such as 12mg+ an RDA might be a little harsh(feel free to correct me if i'm wrong). RDAs already have warm vapes. It'll be like breathing fire lol

I was thinking of mods also but I don't like the firing button being on the bottom. Are there any good ones that have the button on the side?

Only most mechanical mods have firing button on the bottom, and I would not recommend a mechanical mod, or especially a bottom fired mech, to anybody new for safety and convenience reasons.

A suitable replaceable battery mod would be like the vamo, zmax, svd2, e-lvt2. Yes they all have side buttons.
vamo is up to version 10; I think zmax went up to version 5 or 6 then Sigelei's newer mods seem to be named just Sigelei50, Sigelei100 and Sigelei150.
My own mods are 15 watt mods; a vamo3, vamo5s, and a zmax(1?); and some mech mods and kickmodules for backup.

Id go with the ipv mini 2 which has interchangeablel 18650 batteries...it only holds one battery, blasts at 70 watts, will do sub ohm, and charges at 70 watts. I have access to everything and in my opinion it is the best on market right now. I love the leaf 50s and stuff mentioned earlier except when the battery is dead the unit is done. They only will have a 6 month life of regular vaping.

Thank you for all the feedback. I'm going to have to check some stuff out. I don't want to do a mechanical mod. But maybe a box mod or a replaceable battery mod like edyle mentioned would be good. Or, the larger watt iStick. Or, one of each LOL

one of each and you can't go wrong!
;)
