I have tried vg juices, pg/vg blend juices, top coil, bottom coil, but vaping usually causes a burning sensation in my throat, and coughing. If I go 30 mins or more without vaping I have to re-acclimate myself, about 15 or 20 small puffs with barely any inhale, still resulting in burning and coughing. Even then I sometimes never acclimate and keep coughing/throat keeps burning. I am thinking I am someone who just isn't cut out for vaping. I am frustrated and fed up. I think I am done with vaping. I will try not to go back to analogs, but if I do, it's better than this.

Perhaps your nicotine level is too high in what you're vaping? If we have more information on your setup we might be able to figure out whats going on for you.
If you're dead set on quitting, of course, that's your business. We're here for you if you'd like to keep trying, to work through it, and try to figure it out. If not, best wishes of course. I do hope you can keep off the cancer sticks and stay healthier, and I really do mean that. One less person ill from poisons in our world, whether by vape or by quit, is a win in my book.

I've had this problem with every setup I've tried. I don't have anything fancy, but I have had a kanger t2 tank, currently have an aerotank and a nautilus. Using an evod vv and a itaste vv 3.0. Tried a bunch of different juices in 9 mg, 12 mg and 18 mg.
I'd be happy if the problem can be fixed up I think my body just doesn't like vapor.
100 percent vg liquid doesn't do it as bad but it gunks up my coils too fast.

Have you tried not inhaling past your mouth? I mean don't inhale into your lungs at all. Pull the vapor into your mouth, exhale through your nose. You'll absorb the nic and hopefully won't irritate your throat.

This is the answer for a number of us, myself included. For me, it's seasonal, and just started to happen again in the colder, less humid weather here. It developed in my third year of vaping, and was confusing and very irritating. I tried lower voltage, different delivery devices, dropping nic and changing/reducing flavorings, but no change. I now know that it can be completely avoided by puffing into your mouth, even inhaling through your nose while drawing the vapor into your mouth. No cravings, no irritation! Good luck!

( I don't exhale through my nose as it also became irritating, just my mouth)

I don't really like vaping without inhaling though :( can't hardly taste it. The inhale is the rewarding part. I'm also not too worried about relapsing on analogs, I have a blood clotting disorder and have had pulmonary embolism before and it's a big concern of mine. When I smoke analogs now I often have to put them out after a few puffs because I start having a panic attack about blood clots lol. One of the only times an anxiety disorder can benefit someone, I think.

Hmm... So the throat burns. Is it like a heat burn or does it feel more like acid? Heat-wise I'd say you'd need to open up the airflow on your aerotank. A cooler vape might be just the ticket. Also perhaps getting the voltage lower, while possibly less satisfying, may be what your body is asking for. If you were local I'd let you try my RDA build, has an acceptably mild throat hit and great flavor even with 36mg, but the chances of you being in vegas are...pretty low.

If you're getting an acid feeling burn it may be the nicotine. Adjustments to nicotine level or draw technique may be necessary. I know that my first hit of the day, and first hit after a few hours, is a mouth to lung inhale, gives me a nice comfy coating of pg/VG to soften the really heavy nicotine juices I prefer.

Another possibility is to actually thin the juices (well...not really thin, but yah) with pure VG. You can get a bottle fairly cheaply at walmart in (surprisingly enough) the skin care area. Meant for hands, but I've found it works pretty well if i want to experiment with making flavorless clouds or to thin out a flavor that's just TOO strong.

Rick I've tried kind juice, vapor springs, evh, space jam, ruthless, zeus juice, and a bunch of others in everything from 50/50 to vg-only. Vg-only seem to do it less although they still do it, and they gunk up my coils too quick and i cant afford to replace coils that often and am not interested in building my own.

Sounds to me like you keep shopping Premium e-liquids. LOTS of Flavoring and that could be your whole problem.

When nothing seems to work, you start by eliminating as much as possible, all at once.
Verify you can Easily pull through your atomizer - Minimal resistance.
Or order a pack of 2.0ohm cartos(single coil)

Walmart - Humco Glycerine - Pure VG
Yea, I know - No Nic ------ One step at a time
You will need to add a few drops of distilled water so it will wick decent. Try it.
Cough or NO cough?

If No or minimal reaction
Try ordering some Flavorless 50/50 in minimal or -0- Nic

Add back one step at a time to find the Trigger

If you are an Ex-Smoker, it is likely not the PG/VG/Nic
More likely a combination of things that are NOT working together.

You are also rattling off brands, but never mentioning Flavors, Custard is much milder than Cinnamon.

Reading your post made me sad for you. If you managed to smoke cigarettes though, you most certainly can vape, so don't give up. As crxess stated, the key is determining what is causing the irritation. Quality of hardware does make a difference, but not to the degree you are speaking of, so I think it's safe to say it's not your hardware as you have tried different set ups. The draw on an ecig is much different than taking a draw on a cigarette. First time I tried an ecig it almost blew my head off. I don't know what flavors you have tried, but I would try something that isn't overpowered with flavoring at first. Also I would try a low mg nic. Until you get comfortable, try doing mouth to lung hits, just like you would with a cigarette but don't pull even half as hard as you would on a cig. Slow and easy draw maybe half a hit then try a shallow inhale. I don't know what exactly is the problem, but I do know you have come to the right place for guidance. It may not happen right away, but I'm sure someone has experienced what you are going through and will chime in. Be open to the suggestions and give them shot. I truly hope you get this figured out. Good luck to you

thanks for the suggestions guys. Something weird I have noticed is that the coughing and stinging go away completely if I have a cigarette before I vape? I know it defeats the purpose but I have still been smoking about 1 pack/week and I notice I almost always pick up my ecigarette after a cigarette since the vaping will be smooth. Crx, I will try what you said. I have some glycerin sitting around, going to make sure it is 100 percent vg. It's unrelated but I use it to clean my tongue when I get a coating (something I have struggled with as long as I can remember- it works really well. Just a little trick for anyone else here who struggles with this).
I am just really frustrated. I notice certain eliquids are better about it than others, Space Jam isn't as bad but the stores around me are out of stock so I am vaping OB by suicide bunny-does it really bad- and menage a trois by ruthless, which isn't as bad. Both are 12 mg. I tend to prefer creamier/dessert flavors.

Something else I have noticed... which indicates it may be the nic or my tanks, when I try a flavor in stores it never seems to do it. But when I get a bottle home, blagh.

I had a tank which spit juice droplets to the back of my pallet. The vapor even seemed heavier and it would make me cough a little. My pallet would also seem sore or maybe raw after a while. I would go back to my EVODs and they have much less vapor and flavor but the issue disappeared. With the spitting tank the higher the voltage/watts the more it did it. Not saying this is your issue but it is the only issue I have had with vaping anywhere similar so I thought I would pass it along.

OP, I wonder if you have tried menthol / peppermint / wintergreen / mint flavors.

Those are the only ones that can smoke as an all day vape.

Although I like other flavors, they generally cause me to react in much the same way you describe.

For me, nicotine level doesn't matter, but it has to be a cooling vape.

Just a thought.

Sasquatch -
I am sorry to hear that you are thinking of quitting Vaping, but I understand your frustration. Vaping has saved my life, and I have dedicated my life to helping other achieve the same.

If you do give up - we are still here for you if you need help staying off the analogs.

Good luck to you.

when you try juices at the shop, are you trying them in your tank or theirs? Reason I ask, if your coil is dirty or diminishing it will make a vape harsh.

Their tanks. It's not my coils, I mean that adds to the problem but it also happens with fresh coils.

I am vaping 0mg space jam right now with virtually no problem, so it may be the nicotine. I guess I will pick up some with nic when they're back in stock locally and mix a really low nic, give it a shot. I haven't really been able to go below 12 mg and curb cravings but some is better than none I guess. I am not positive it is the nicotine though, space jam usually isn't too much of a problem for me. So many juices do it though :(

Sounds like it's just the nic that's doing it. Try 3mg or 6mg juice and chain vape lol.
