About a year ago I posted about my Joye 510 not giving me a good throat hit...well since then I continued to smoke. I am thinking of quitting and pick up the ecig...
Someone posted that the Joye 510 did not have enough voltage but there was a solution the ego twist 1100 battery which has adjustable voltage.
My question is will the ego twist battery work with the Joye 510 cart and atomizer?
thanks...Mike

The cartridge and atomizer set up is a bit outdated. You should try a clearomizer like this Or just plain cartomizers like this The cartomizer is basically the cartridge and azomizer together in one unit. I think what you have will still work but that set up is a bit costly to run because of the atomizers. Check out some reviews on these 2 options. With the clearomizer you just replace the heads on it when needed. They just screw on and off. It holds more liquid then a cartomizer and you can tell how much is left. If you end up trying the cartomizer then if you like it you can get a cartomizer tank. Both options are fairly cheap to try out. For your battery I would go with the Ego twist, vision spinner or the smoktech winder. They are all 3 the same thing but are made by different companies. They have a dial on the bottom that will allow you to turn the voltage up or down to adjust the warmth, flavor and throat hit. Good luck and I promise you will have better success with a better set up. It's just a given

So all I need is battery for now...can you send link for a ego twist battery...so far I looked at deal extreme (dx.com) and the batteries are fairly cheap...but there different models ego C, ego T etc. Does it matter...I see they make a 1300 mah...could someone help me out?
It's little confusing!
Thanks Mike

They're all pretty much the same, I have Vision Spinners, and am very happy with them, I paid under $20 for both.

1300MAH is the Milliamp Hour rating, so a higher number means it will last longer on a charge.

EGo is a brand specific thing to the Joyetech line of gear - the "T" and "C" refers to the kind of atomizer (the part that makes vapor) that is in the kit. A lot of people also use "Ego" as slang for the small wand type battery with a 510 fitting, and "spinner' or "twist" because you change the voltage by spinning the cap on the bottom.

This is what I have - I got them cheaper locally, but $24 isn't bad, they last a while. If you can afford it, get two, one charging while using the other, I found I can get just under a day with these.

Thanks for answer it was very informative...I looked at the Vision Spinner it may be the one I get...deal extreme.com has them cheaper but it takes forever to get them. Now will I need a new battery charger?

We'll I got 2 new ego twist batteries but as you can see the battery charger does not fit...if I could take it apart, drill it out and it would fit...should I bother or just get a battery charger that fits?
See photos Thanks Michael

Does anyone know how these work...it's just got a button...can I adjust the voltage?
They came without instructions...
Can't really see the picture well enough to say...

But if the bottom has a part that turns, then you can adjust the voltage by turning it.
If it does not have a part that turns, then it is not a variable voltage battery.
