So I just discovered dripping and I'm absolutely in love. I MUCH prefer dripping to cartos when I'm at home. However, I dont know much about atomizers. I use a Joye 510 battery. What are the different options for 510 atomizers? I've heard of a low resistance atomizer, the joye 510 atomizer and litecig.com has a "premium joye 510 atomizer". What do you think is the best atomizer for dripping with the 510?

If you just have a regular 510 battery, I wouldn't use a LR atty on it! Get a big battery mod or an eGo. I'd recommend trying some LR atomizers. I really enjoy the LR 306. It has the same threading as the 510 (no adapter needed).

+1 on this. Do not drive LR's with standard 510 batts

why not? Is it the same for LR cartos?

The small 510 batts do not have enough mah's to drive the LR atty's. You will drain them too fast. Probably the same for LR cartos if they are 1.5 ohm. 2.0 ohm cartos will strain the batts too but not as bad as the 1.5 ohm ones. Most Suppliers state to use 450 mah or higher batts to drive LR's.

Any advice on my original post?

I have 4 standard resistance 510 atty's that look just like the "premium" ones shown. I really did not see any difference in performance between them and the standard other than the "gold" band. With the 510 batt you may want to give the premium a try at $8.00. Maybe someone else can chime in. I am pretty much using LR's on eGo's and Mod but do keep the standard 510 batts and atty's for backup and visitors who want to try vaping.

I'm using the same standard 510 attys I use with my eGo batteries. They're supposedly genuine Joye and I trust the supplier. I did splurge on a stainless super-T drip tip. I use them both with eGo batteries and a 510 USB passthrough and work equally well.

I did try pulling out the wick and bridge and believe it improves things enough to make it worthwhile. Do that and you're dripping juice right onto the burner with nothing in the way. You might want to look for the how-to YouTube videos and give that a try.
