Ok, so..........I purchased this kit on Black Friday and loved the hell out of it. Unfortunately, my battery died about a week later. It would fire the atomizer for about a second and then cut off. Thanks to American e-liquid's great customer service they replaced my battery right away (they're local to me, so I exchanged in person). I used it all day long (taking breaks to charge), then left it on the charger overnight. The next morning it worked for a few good puffs, but then the same thing happened. The AEL customer service speculated that the atomizer may be shorting out the batteries, but while I was at the office they discovered that the atty is fine, and the battery is indeed shot. I again had the battery replaced, but this time I also purchased a male/male-510/808 adapter so I could charge the new battery in my 808 charging case. Two days later, same thing, so I run back over there and exchange for a fourth battery. This time, they speculated that it is a bad charger, so they also gave me a different model charger. I also bought a new atomizer for good measure. That was just today, so now I'm on pins and needles about this new battery dying. Do any of you have any idea why this was happening in the first place? A friend of mine has the same kit, and he's been running everything for well over three weeks now. The only difference is that his charger is the same model as in the picture. I believe mine may have been an older model, as the light was actually beneath the casing rather than a raised dome.

My theory is that perhaps the charger was either defective or charging excessively, or perhaps I was running too much on partial charges. I feel like the reason the third battery lasted two days was because I was switching between the USB and case chargers. My old 808 case has a 200 maH output, and the 510 battery runs at 180 maH, so perhaps I should just stick with the case to charge. I hope I didn't lose any of you after that long rant.......but, any ideas?

P.S. I should also add that during this whole fiasco I was cleaning the atomizer once per battery.
