Why do I stay so thirsty while I vape? Does anybody else have this problem? I started noticing how thirsty I was getting when I started PV's. I drink all the time. When I first started I had a sore throat, but that has gone now. Just wondering if the thirsty feeling will pass also. :vapor:Any ideas would help out. Thanks for everybody's post.

Hi happiest. Glad to hear you're on your way. Vapor comes from our bodies and not the juice. I drink 2 large glasses of water in the a.m. and about 2 liters each day. The PG and VG basically "traps" the moisture in our mouths and throats and thus the vapor. Vg is more a humectant than PG.
What is an Humectant?
Happy Vaping, Vapoor.
Also more than 4 cups of java per day = dehydration. I had to cut back drastically on my java because of dehydration.

Edit: You're lucky you noticed this issue early as many don't realize this problem until it is causing them problems.

Being thirsty more than usual is the one annoying thing about vaping for me. It's still a far cry for the awful time I was having from smoking so I can deal with it.

I use chewing gum to keep my saliva levels up when I'm working and can't get to water af often and it makes a massive difference. Be sure to use sugar free gum or your gums and teeth will suffer.

I also never leave for anywhere without a bottle of water on me. I never used to leave without one when I smoked either so it's nothing new for me. Take lots of sips of water through the day to keep yourself hydrated.

One of the fringe benefits of vaping for me is that water NEVER tasted SO GOOD!!! :D A few ice cubes and man, its like heaven.

You're very welcome happiest and it's great to hear things are going so well. Re: Soda I had to cut down on my Coca Cola because of the caffiene :(
I also had a hard time sleeping so now in the evening I vape 10 mg as opposed to 20 mg during the day....credit goes to swedishfish for this suggestion.

Merry Christmas
