This cotton ok to use?

The sterile cotton balls, q-tips, sterile rolled cotton works 100 x better.

I just go to my bathroom and grab a cotton ball out of the package. a cotton ball will roll out flat and will provide bunches of wicks.

I get my huge sterile cotton roll from CVS for about $5. Will last like forever. I boiled a portion of it just in case. It tastes delicious and wicks amazing. My wicks are juice hogs.

As far as that particular yarn, I'm not sure. I studied the yarns also and it confused me. I do know some love Peaches and Cream yarn from Walmart.

I use peaches n creme. I like it because I can wrap directly on it, I just use 3 or 4 strands of yarn and wrap a coil on it. It usually stays about the same ohms too which is nice. I also like it for threading. I set my friends igo-l up hassle free for him. I wrapped a coil around a drill bit and it fits 3 strands perectly. So I just gave him a bunch of cotton to thread through, takes only a minute.

I think that the cotton balls and such are more "raw" as in more fibrous. The yarns are manipulated cotton. Both harmless, but I think the wiry "raw" fibers are physically more effective.

They look almost like a picture of fresh picked cotton

I like the cotton balls which I believe I got from CVS. They have the organic ones that were dyed using peroxide and not bleach. Don't like using anything with dye or bleach having been used it the process. Also prefer organic to avoid the pesticides that are used on cotton.

Im not sure about that yarn, , if its thick enough and wicks well cutting to length is easier than a cottonball, Its worth a shot, its cheap enough, Id boil it a couple times before use
