Im new here my name is Chris, I live in des moines Iowa. Im somewhat new/old to vaping. I will give you a brief rundown then this new addiction! I Remember 2009 When one of our malls got a cigalike kiosk. At the time I had bad unemployment and was amazed by what they were selling. I forget the brand name but tried some of the flavors and was not terribly impressed especially by the price they wanted upwards of $250 dollars for a ten day supply of cartridges and 2 rechargeable batteries. I left the scene immediately no way. Fast Forward 2 years my buddy had a Cigalike i was smoking 2 packs a day at the age of 21. I asked him if he was crazy or just rich. He laughed and said neither that they could be had rechargeable at the truck stop for $20 plus 5 cartridges. I was all over it... Still bad flavor and not a good hit. That didn't last. This last august my girlfriends sister bought and simple ego style battery and sent it to her with a lot of different flavors, Can you say wow! Real flavor and good draw. At this point i was a patch fiend (28 patches at 21 mg a week and chewing on top of that) But my excuse was no cigs. That was a lie i was smoking a pack every 2 days. I was pouring nicotine in at every opportunity. I got a new job and one of my coworkers had this amazing e-cig. I stopped by the local store and how this has changes From VV to Vw to Mechs. Amazing i started with your basic ego twist and a hyper tank. I found a hobby that I have definite interest in. Last Weekend I went to the local b&m Vape meet where house of hybrids made that store the 2nd store to carry their product. Fast forward to today I have 11 different liquids the ego twist which my girl friend has adopted, a smok natural with rsst. I have quite a bit of electrical knowledge as a mechanic, so it was a matter of time until the RBA was to be had. And Then today on my perfect vape quest ( I chose mechs because durability speaks to be as well as simplicity.) I made a choice I do not regret i purchased my first high end Hybrid a Zen Side Winder Gothball 12 of 25. All i can say is holy wow why did i even mess with anything else this thing is beautiful in the sense of pleasing to the eye and a great hit. If I were to meet the owner of Zen again I would thank him as this is truly amazing. The price was steep but if you want something you know will last from the time you handle it to made in the USA With a lifetime guarantee this is it. Mine has a few flaws but those are what make mine distinguished and mine I'm usually not one for imperfection but i Will settle for once. This has become an amazing hobby with some amazing people who help one another and are friendly and one that i plan to keep. So My thats about me and my journey in the vaping world.
