I can't even believe that this is physically possible! Could some of our more scientific minds please explain to me how an e-cigarette could in any way ignite an oxygen tank? Unfortunately I can not find how to comment on this piece, but I intend to give the editor a piece of my mind via e-mail

I can't get the link to work, but I remember seeing something before about a battery on a charger catching fire(as unfortunately they sometimes do) which could then ignite an oxygen tank. There's a warning around here somewhere about not charging in an oxygen rich environment.
