What is the world coming too! I'm sorry but there are simply WAY, WAY too many choices to pick from for almost everything you can buy these days! Whenever I go to Walmart, I see a gazillion varieties of almost everything...and then of course it means having to sort through them all and try to figure out which one might be best for me.....and sometimes "eany meany miny moe" is all I can muster! LOL!

I've been at this for almost 4 weeks, and already I have AT LEAST 50 different flavors of juice sitting around, probably enough to last me for a year or more...lol. I just got another 3 packages of new juice in the mail today, and I still haven't tried out the ones I got in the mail in the last three or four days yet....which presents me with yet another problem...which is not having enough of the little tank thingies to put them in since I already have about 15 of them and all of them have different flavors of juice in them that I really like...so now what? Do I buy a bunch more tank thingies? Or do I just empty one of them out and put something new in it? If I do that, it will mean I won't have a flavor I really enjoy at the ready. Hmmm....and I just HAD to take up a new hobby....lol

Isn't it nice to have so much money to spend on neat stuff now that it doesn't go for obscenely expensive cigarettes?

A cheaper option than dripping attys for trying juices: Kanger bottom coil carto with filler removed.

I get them from Litecig, $6.85 for a 5-pack as I recall. Slide the filler out and use them just as you would a 510 atty.

You can just buy bottom coil clearos that will do the same thing, and the ones I've tried vape GREAT. Lots of vapour and very pure taste even when chain vaping; maybe because there's no need for a long wick. You can carry a heap of them in your pocket and the capacity is normally around 1ml, so very useful all round if you like to carry lots of different flavours. I tried dripping, and dipping, but I've come to the conclusion that I really need to vape at least a ml before I know if a flavour is worth keeping. Some flavours that I wan't sure about have grown on me, while I've other's I found 'interesting' were just awful when used to any degree - I'm just glad I never contaminated a tank with them and they should probably go in the bin.

Edit: sorry, I re-read your post an realise you are modifying them for dripping, more or less as I suggest in my next post. No matter, I can still recommend the bottom coil clearos for testing and for carrying lots of different stuff with you...

BUT... I'm thinking the solution to this is the "dripping" I keep reading about. You can vame 3-4 puffs at a time this way, then drip something else. Now, instead of buying extra tanks and more vivi novas or nova coil/head/wick setups, I think I'll get a 510 atomizer and a drip tip for sampling juices.
:vapor:

Get some bottom coil clearos as well, as per my previous post in this thread. Cheap, and great for testing.

I've used top coil cartomisers for dripping as well, with or without a drip tip. It seems to work well. I've also tried dipping by cutting down a disposable cartomer and taking the filler out, leaving the coil exposed. Now THAT was an interesting vape. Very intense flavour but I overdid it and finished up with a sore throat. Very pure flavour though, and seems to be more economical than dripping when all you are doing is sampling a flavour mixed on the 20 drop system.

A word of caution if you want to try this though: it's vitally important the you don't allow the coil to contact the S/S casing when doing this. A short might take out your battery or electronics.

Yep. I use my T2's as my standard 'experimental' juice device. Like many, I feel I need to vape a fair amount before passing judgement. I almost quit on Gandalf early in my vaping career twice. Once because it was not steeped and a second time from judging it from dripping. After about 15 minutes of vaping it, it became a staple.

I usually put about a mil in the T2 and go to town. If the juice sucks I toss the 2 dollar atomizer and rinse the clearo out. No big loss there. Happy vaping!

Send 'em to me! :)

Seriously, don't throw them out. It's good to have variety and you may find your tastes change over time, or that something you didn't like to start with tastes great when you drip. I'm finding things taste different when dripped/dipped/tanked or cartomised. My least favourite is the cartomiser, a prejudice I'll have to overcome if and when I decide to try a tanked cartomiser. Also don't be afraid to experiment; If a flavour is too sweet, add something acidic. A bland tobacco might work with with a drop of cherry... you get the idea.

The small plastic clearomisers are cheap and are great to have around for trying small batches after dripping first.

Yes it most certainly is! I've been tickled pink, in more ways then one by taking up this new hobby. I did find myself another vape that I think is gonna be another keeper. It's Magic Fairy and I've been vaping it all day. On another quest of mine, I FINALLY found a smoker at work who is gonna give this a try. I'm the one and only so far where I work, and it's at a place with about 150 employees! (Ok, I live out in the boonies, and folks around here are a bit behind the times, ya might say...lol) I convinced another guy who's the same age as me,
(55) to give it a try with the starter kit and box of juices that I'm gonna give to him. My only stipulation for receiving it for nothing was that when he got finished with it, moved on to bigger and better or gave it up, that he was to pass it on to another smoker who would be willing to use it for the same reason, which is of course to try to quit smoking. I do know that he has been trying to quit, just like I have been for the last ...well forever when I think about it, you know what I mean there I'm sure. Quitting is a tough nut to crack, for most of us at least. I'll be the first to admit that I'm addicted something fierce to nicotine, have been since I was 10 yrs old. But wow was it easy to quit with the e-cig, I still am in awe at how easy it was to quit the cigarettes with this substitute. Now sure many will say that we are still addicted, and they are correct, but I simply don't give a damn what the naysayers say or think about it. It is a godsend for me, even if I am still addicted, because getting it in this manner is so harmless!
