Hello All!
Quick introduction of myself. Have smoked 35 yrs. Always menthol, currently VirginiaSlims 120 menthol luxury lights. I average about 1/pk day. Have never tried quitting before. But, I know in my heart, it's time.

Intro to e-cigs by my mother in law. 80 yr old friend had quit using e-cigs after over 50 yrs of smoking! Pretty impressive in my book!

I really appreciate the veterans that share with us in this forum. After much reading, reading and reading and total confusion, I think I am somewhat clear about what I wish to purchase. I would rather spend more $$ now and get the best to start with.

Please share your suggestions and thoughts.

EGo with 5 extra carts. 3 atomizers. Like the idea of the longer battery life. I am a bit confused...are there different brands? Are there starter paks, what should I look for? Where should I purchase?

30 mil of E-juice, 18 & 24 mg.. I was attrached to Halo's Newpure and Menthol Ice based on members comments. Out of stock. So...need help choosing another menthol e-juice and a small starter pak of other flavors. Thinking one VG and the other VG. Suggestions? Where should I purchase?

I look forward to being a member of ECF!

Great choice on an ECIG model....heard all good things about it! There are many different brands of e-cigs out there, so congrats on making a solid first choice.

Now, as for juice and flavors, you've opened up pandora's box....everyone here has a different answer it seems.

For Menthols, HALO is pretty well-regarded. Look out for pages of opinions soon, which is kinda fun to watch. You'll be a veteran in no time.

Have fun!

Congrats and welcome taxicat! Making that first step can be confusing. But it seems like you're off to the right start. When I frist purchased I didn't know anything about different brands or E-Juice. So you're way ahead of the game.

As for EGo I know that many people like them but I can't say since I don't own one.

The one lesson I learned is E-Juice is a learning process. VG doesnt give you the throat hit that PG does. So keep that in mind when looking at juices. Halo has come highly recommended but as you said are out of stock. Tasty Vapor and Totally Wicked are two others that have been recommended to me as well.

I think that the Ego is a good choice, I purchased mine from Janty and I enjoy it very much.

As far as the menthol< can't help you there, I don't use it. It seems to me all juices are different, while one brand might taste good to some, other will not like it. I think it is more of a hit or miss situation. Try some small bottles from different places and see how you like them.

I hear the Janty eGo is the best! But I also hear they are all the same product (as long as it says eGo, it's and eGo) so that part's confusing to me. I just ordered a "wicked eGo" so I guess I'm about to find out. As long as you get it from a supplier that had a good reputation around the forum, you should be o.k. Parked from dietsmokes seems to be well liked. I got my wicked ego from wordupecig though. Welcome and good luck! You're going to love it.

Thank you all for the warm welcome and suggestions!

I am going with the 'wicked' from wordupecig (thanks Rosa). They appear to be well liked here. Price seems to be good. Nice selection of e-juice samples.
Can try both formulas.

So....will catch up with y'all when I receive my order, probably with a zillion questions!
