So I got my small tank today and thanks to Snow's wonderful video, I was off and running in no time! Easy Peasy! I just have to say, these tanks ROCK!!!! I like the size of the small, so I think I will stick with it, at least for the time being, but I am definitely going to the website to place an order for a few more in the next few days! I am counting on the helpful pros here to steer me right, keeping in mind that I will be using the small tank with manual xl diamond tip batts...

1. Can anyone tell me what is the difference between the available cartos for the tanks? I am just using the one it came with - no idea what type that is but seems to be just perfect. Do the dual ones work better, last longer? What is the perk?

2. Since the consensus seems to be thicker juice works best - does that mean the Wow juices over the premium since they have VG and the premium don't?

Thanks for any input you can give this tank newbie! :)

Almost 3 years ago when I started this "e-cig" thing, I had tried 2 other types of e-cig before finding V4L. I fell in love with V4L and never looked back. At the time, Steve said "you ain't seen nothing yet! It is going to get better, I have a few surprises." I thought pfffft, I already love this, how could it possibly get better? Well, it did. I mean it really really did! It seems like every time I turned around, he was pulling something out of his bag of tricks to make me fall in love all over again! So Steve - huge shout out to you for keeping your word! This is awesome! And Mark, thanks for all you do to support him! My two main men! And thanks for all the wonderful people at V4L who keep things humming along and the terrific people here on this board who are happy to help everyone along on this adventure! Love you all!

That's awesome JenJen! I've been on the fence about the tanks. But people like you who post these raving reviews just make me think......hmmmmmm
Reading through a lot of the post about the tanks, someone said they told themselves never and then it went to well, not yet. Made me smile because that was exactly how I was feeling. I can't say for certain, but I think I might - soon. Glad you are enjoying yours. I've watched Snow's videos several times. He just makes it look sooo dang easy. ticktoc ticktoc.......

It was super easy! And man, the vapor is just outstanding, nice strong hits! Could probably go down in nic with this. You could always do what I did - order a small one and see what you think - they really are inexpensive, but I am really impressed with the tank! Going to have to get a few more for sure! :)

Hehehee, that was probably me. It even has a verb, it's called "Katzing" :2cool:

It is amazing, isn't it? I couldn't believe how good it is when I started. I had to learn not to drag so hard because of the hit. And it is pretty easy most of the time. I have been getting some dud cartos though - initially I thought it was my technique but I do it the same every time, so I don't think it is me. Totally addicted to my tanks now.

Glad to hear you like them JenJen! I absolutely love the tanks but I do have one gripe with them - as Morandir said they are very hard on VT batteries. Both in the short and long term in my limited experience. The battery just can't hold a charge for long with the tank pulling that kind of power. Also, now my batts that are dedicated to tanks have a very limited ability to hold voltage it seems.

I've been using 1.5 ohm and then switched to 2.0 carts with the tanks and have depleted 5 regular manual stealths. They aren't dead yet, but 2 or 3 only give a good hit right after charging and the others don't give much output and lose charge very quickly. So two things:

1. Snow/Morandir/Others - would you recommend using 2.0 or higher ohm carts in the tanks to preserve long term battery life/performance on stick batteries? I'm thinking that using the 1.5's for so long caused my problem.

2. Would you recommend the EGO batts for tank use? I've been reading up on them and I think this may be my solution.

I'd really love to use my tanks but my batteries just don't give them any kick anymore. I don't really want to order more regular batts and have the same thing happen to them in a couple months.

Thanks!

Jen, I ordered my first lil tank a few months ago, and it was so cool. But the 6ml tanks are the way to go! It's like the difference between a 4 cyl and a 8 cyl engine, more power :D

+1! I have 8 or 9 of the 6ml tanks and love them. Only 2 of the little ones that I use solely to see if I really like a new juice enough to buy another 6ml tank.

As for battery life, I've found everything works great for me on the OEM egos thanks to Morandir sir straightening me out on the whole DC/SC/resistance thing. I vape pretty much nonstop all day and usually get 10-12 hours before I have to go to the backup which is also an OEM ego.

The Scootness sir how many charges old were these batteries?

I don't keep track Morandir and I think it's amazing that you do. All 5 have been used pretty heavily but have been purchased at different times. The reason I wonder if the tanks take an extra toll on batteries is that I have several regular auto diamonds that are older than these stealth manuals. The stealths have been used only on tanks and are failing, whereas the diamonds have been used only on carts and they're still going strong. If I had to guess, I'd say that the charges on the diamonds has got to be significantly more than the stealths.
