Well my daughter loves her shorty....My wife and my sister in law tried it and I got stuck ordering 2 regular size kits for them too. I stopped smoking and was looking forward to saving some money but I'm spending more........I'm starting to think analogs were cheaper.:(

hehehe....I dunno, I have spent a pretty penny myself, but between me, my hubby and my mom, I still think I have spent less....I wasn't supporting my mom's smoking, but if I include what she spends each week on ciggies along with myself and hubby, I do believe I have at least broken even............of course I am too afraid to add it all up to see for sure:blush:

hmm.....3 people X 60 bucks a week = 180 smackers a week.....whew nellie......yea....I've saved:laugh:

Well it's all in how you do it really. Batteries and chargers are going to cost you more. However if you stick to a few favors and refill with juice rather than cartos, you will start saving pretty fast. It's the variety that adds to the expense.

I personally don't mid one bit about the expense even if I don't have a lot to spend it's all well spent.

Since I plan on being buried with my PV and a carto of peppermint and a bottle or two of juice (I believe in planning ahead), I figure I will probably have broken even by then :)

However, forum friends = priceless, health = priceless, clean hair and clothes = priceless and BEST of all new experiences = priceless :) Analogs are just money up in smoke...uh, so to speak :p

Fear not, you will see the light (break even point) at the end of the tunnel! Besides, you seem to me to be the kind of man who likes to spoil the women in his life :) And what better way to spoil them than the gift of health :)

I agree that starting out is expensive. I keep telling myself it's just a learning curve. At the same time, I think V4L will keep adding and changing things up to keep me buying (batts anyone?). When I was telling my Mom, who smokes, about all this, her first question was "Do you think it will end my sweet tooth cravings?" LOL. I just want it to work - to breath, not smell like smoke, taste......Anyway, aww h*ll, I guess I'm in!

Hiya, SAG, and welcome to our addiction :p

As for the cravings, Eleanor's right on the money! When I decided I needed a chocolate bunny at Easter (*I* swear, he was calling my name!), I vaped lots of chocolate and bye-bye, bunny!!! Chocolate covered cherries own me so not even V4L's yummy cherry cordial can save me from them :)

I was beginning to get a little concerned about the expense myself, but like all the others here, it's the change in health that outweighs anything. That, and the great feeling that comes with giving a big, fat middle finger to Philip Morris. I'd much rather give my hard earned money to a small, but rapidly expanding business like V4L. Ethically, they're miles ahead of many companies. Someone else will have to post it, but there's a video somewhere of the plant/warehouse whatever, where V4L gets their product. How many companies would do this??? Analogs suck, case closed.

That being said, I have spent a pretty penny on my vaping habit. It's almost like I'm addicted to something in that juice.

:vapor: our expenses have tapered off, but may send some batteries, chargers and cartos to my brother. he is really interested in vaping and i want to get him started on V4L soon. we already sent him all of our old cheap starter kit and carts, told him to contact me when he runs out so i can get him into V4L ASAP. i have an email already to go out to him that explains sales, coupon codes, the forum, etc. i had a lot of the cheapie supplies left, so it may be a while...

I have spent a lot of money. However, I feel it is necessary to fully set yourself up for success. I believe you can't put a price on health. I shopped smart using many of the awesome sales. I have to make sure not to react to every little sale and to use some restraint now that I am pretty stocked up! Fat chance!

I bought an Igo a couple of weeks ago. That's the first PV I've bought in months. Usually, I just pick up a couple of bottles of juice a month from this or that supplier. I'd be guessing I'm under 40 bucks a month on average. Not bad at all imo. Considering I would crack open a 3rd pack of smokes a day at 4+ bucks a pop lol.
