I figured out how to upload pics, but can't figure out how to upload an avatar. I'm pretty good with computers too so this is real annoying. Am I doing something wrong or am I not allowed to upload an avatar till I have so many posts or something???

Go to the top of the page and find settings. You can upload an avatar from there. You have to have five posts in order to reply of start threads. Try making a few short posts in the "New Members" area like was suggested to me. something like OK., Yes.... No..., Maybe, and you'll be up and running!
