A very happy time for me, especially since, in the beginning, I had no intention of quitting. I’d even purchased six cartons of analogs about five days before my last smoking day.
I bought an e-cig as something to use while I visited my daughter. She and son-in-law detested the smell.
On March 19, two years ago, around 10:00 PM I had my usual last analog of the night before taking a shower and going to bed.
The next morning, I got up, got into the car and hubby took me to the airport. I will admit, I had a few moments, but since I didn’t take any analogs with me, I couldn’t cave. At the end of the third week and on my return trip home, I knew I’d never light up again.

This was probably the best thing to happen to me. I’d been diagnosed with COPD and used Advair pretty much on a daily basis. I also carried an inhaler with me at all times. I use neither anymore.
I also was taking meds for High Blood Pressure (hypertension). My next visit to the doctor, he had to cut my meds because it was running too low.

My message here, for the ones that start on a rocky road, stick with it, you will be thankful you did.

Just a quick edit: When I said for newbies to hang in there, I not only meant that giving up analogs can be terrible but that I know vaping can be frustrating. Things not working quite right, or not at all, or it's just a bad vaping day. The latter is why I carry three/four mods with me at all times---I figure one of them will be having a good day. And if you think it's bad now, you should have been around two years ago!!!
Just work through it and in the end you will be so very happy.
