I think I'm about to go berzerko on ecblend's create-your-own and I'm just posting to find out if I'm out of my mind. Any link to a previous post about this kind of thing or criticism/suggestion of the ecblend flavors, or that my concoction will be nasty be default is appreciated.

As for the tobacco base flavor, I'm using their 7 leaf since it sounds like that's their most popular. Though they do have a Marlboro clone and a Marlboro Smoke (which sounds intereting).

Here's the ideas:
85% 7 Leaf, 10% Black Licorice, 5% Honey. Which I would name "Eric Lencher 1948."
65% 7 Leaf, 25% Black Pepper, 10% Tomato. Which I hadn't thought up a snappy name, and in fact is the reason I thought I was going stupid making these.
And I'm planning to make around five or six more freaky concoctions.

Has anyone made anything neat like this, or is it better to buy the straight up liquid and mix myself. I don't want to go all DIY. I just want to goof around. The price of 5ml is $2.50 with them mixing, so no worries about price.

Thanks, and my first non-new member forum post.

I used to do this same thing with Juicy Vapor. It's not predestined to fail, but you may want to ask around and find out what particular flavors they use that are of higher quality--I learned the hard way that Juicy Vapor's amaretto was medicinal and metallic. You may end up with a tasty blend, but I feel the novelty of it wears off quickly. DIY is a completely differen't (and better) option IMO, though I have enver actually attempted it.

Good luck in finding what you are looking for.

Now you tell me, I just ordered some Juicy Vapor's amaretto yesterday. :?:

YMMV, though I think it is not an mpg thing but a gas problem....haha. Check back here and tell us what you think. If it doesn't tickle your fancy, and if it does taste like how I described, try Highbrow's Amaretto. I haven't tried it, but I think Eleanor has recommended it. A flavor like amaretto is a tough one to get right--it's right up there with cherry...ironically enough those two would go well together.

I've found one problem with just at home DIY compared to the ecblend thing. Ecblend will let you get black pepper flavor to add, but you can't buy it in concentrate or as a normal vape.

I guess they'll get my next order...though I really am thinking of getting the E2 Apollo tank. I don't own a tank, so I can justify it that way, yeah.

Re: Amaretto. Try steeping it for a few years/decades. :D Or, if it's a total wash, try that adding two drops of white vinegar to it (if it's 10ml). I think that's supposed to cut sweetness, but hell, why not just try random crap with it.

FreedomSmokeUSA has a black pepper you can buy, as well as other spices and unusual flavors. You need to steep those a few days with the caps off though (chemical taste), and the samples only come in 24 mg nic.

And you would be so surprised at the variety of concentrated flavorings you can get for eliquids- do check out the DIY forum and ask around in there.
