Thoughts on my hardware purchase and RBA newb tips?

I'm fairly new to vaping but I do smoke way less now. Anyway I had bought a j-mod (clone?) in a 18650 config and have been using it with 3.5 vivi novas. It's a bit big for out and about so I ordered a smaller mod and goodies. I have been using 70/30 juice but have some 50/50 ordered, if it matters.

Here's what I ordered.

UD V10 mech mod 18350 config
UD AGA-T3
Efest imr 10.5a 700mah battery (purple)

Is this system going to work ok? I haven't built coils before and am looking for tips/tricks for building my aga-t3. I'm not new to electronics or using a multi-meter. What resistance should I be going for with this hardware setup?

Do you have any regulated mods?
A regulated mod that tells you your ohms volts watts etc and has overheat cutoff short circuit protection etc is nice to have.

Does the v10 have room for a kick module?

If I'm looking at the right batteries, the max continuous amp rating is about 6 amps (see discountvapers.com: 6.4 AMP Max draw. please note: this is from our tests (with our friends help) efest claims higher but it does not calculate properly so please stay UNDER this limit.).

You want to keep your setup at full charge on a mech mod lower than 75% or so of that amp rating, so 4.2V at 4.5amps is about 0.93 ohms (and about 19 watts). I'd round up and say you should be ok as long as you keep your coil resistance over 1 ohm.

Scratch that - I wasn't looking at the purple one. So 75% of 10.5 amps is about 7.8a. At 4.2 volts, you get 33 watts and .54 ohms. Keep it over .6ohms and you're good.

I don't have any regulated mods. I did order a couple 7a 2 penny fuses. I'm not sure if there will be room for a kick, from what I've read they require going to a shorter battery.

Some mods come with a 15mm kick ring to add on to accomodate a kick. Some are telescopic and so can take a 18350 with a kick.

I ordered one of these:
$18.99 Chi You Style Mechanical Mod - stainless steel / 510/eGo threading at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping
max battery length 84mm: that's a 18650 + kick.
also supports 18350.

There's a few others; I ordered this one because it also supports eGo thread.

aga-t2.
not sure about the t3 but im assuming it looks something like this:

Compare the deck to the kraken:

I haven't got one, but I like the looks of that deck; I would be tempted to try dripping on it.

Ok. I'm not sure if the v10 has a spacer or not, it's still on the way. I got the fuses more for my big mod since the battery is just a 18650 4000mah li-ion. And I don't think it has any kind of pcb or protection. I was hoping with the purple battery I wouldn't have to worry about a kick or anything.

I also order a 3.5 and a 4 ml smoktech dual coil clearomizers.

a sigelei kick would give a few protections, including cutoff when your battery gets down to 3.2volts instead of you having to check it.

Details:

•Matching with atomizer in a resistance of 1.5ohm-3.0ohm
•Variable wattage: 5W-15W in 1W increment or decrement
•POR: After power on reset, the KICK will get into the alert status if no atomizer installed
•Low voltage protection (below 3.2V)
•Low resistance protection (below 1.0ohm)
•Short circuit protection
•Match with any kind of SIGELEI Telescope, and most full mechanical mods

sigelei also has a front end kick module that screws onto the front of a mech mod:

Introducing The Youde UD AGA-T3 Pyrex Glass Tank Rebuildable Atomizer - RBA. We are including an excellent review from Todd at Todd ecigreviews (see bottom). This actually looks like it may be one of the easier RBAs to coil up and does not require tools as it uses knurled washer posts to secure your wiring.

Stainless steel body with Pyrex glass tank, and adjustable 510 threaded connection.

Dimensions & Metrics
Size: Height - 46.5mm, Width - 22mm
Capacity: 1.5 - 2.0ml
3.5mm center mesh hole, supports both mesh and ceramic wick or multi-strand silica wick
Pros: Center mesh and tight tube space can result in better flavor. br>Includes:
1x AGA-T3 Stainless Rebuildable Atomizer with Pyrex Glass Tank
1x Resistance Wire for Coil
1x Extra Silicone Piece
3x Extra Black O-Ring
1x Extra nut
Extra parts are packaged at the factory, so if any are missing we cannot resend extra parts!
Basic instructions - coiling the AGA-T3:
Unscrew the nut on the center positive post about half way up, leaving a small hole on both side of the center post slot.
Insert wire to the hole from inside to outside of the center post, then tighten the nut.
Cut the extended wire on the outside (Do not leave any wire touching the base). Of course this is on one side th eother side you will have to feed up through the wicking center hole to wrap you wicking and then fi8nally to attach to th enegative post.
Insert the mesh or other wick material into the center post.
Wrap wire around the mesh wick (or multi-stranded silica or ceramic, etc.)
Unscrew the nut on the tall negative post about half way up, finish it up by wrapping the wire around the negative post, then tighten the nut.

I don't actually know the difference. Like I said, I'm a newb at this. Lol. I just went with the aga t-3 because it was smaller.

The aga is a genesis type; a topcoil; the coil is at the top.
Liquid rises up a wick to get to the coil. Airflow is at the top.

The vacuum feed is a bottom coil, with the coil below the tank; airflow comes from below the tank.
