So from what I've read in the TFA thread, both of these flavors are pretty much super-concentrated and the recommended mix ratios were 1-2 drops per 10ml. How many of you have used these flavors? If you have, what has been your experience when mixing?

I've been trying to find a good DIY Coffee for a while now and to date, both of these flavors are in the "eh, I'll try it again...sometime" area of my stash as my first mix was too potent; so potent, I didn't want to try again because, well, let's face it, they are super strong in the bottle and don't give you that pleasant coffee aroma one would hope for :).

With that said, I like my coffee stronger (I'm an espresso / triple-quad shot small/medium latte type - I *want* the flavor), but 2-4% with these two was probably the equivalent to 6-9 shots of battery acid in a cup :).

If you've tried these, let me know your mix ratio. Would love to test it out tonight/tomorrow so I can have a vape with my morning coffee.

'Never met a Kona I could vape.

The TFA Caramel Cappuccino is a staple here. This resembles me >>>I'm an espresso / triple-quad shot small/medium latte type - I *want* the flavor<<<, as I learned to like strong coffees in Miami (Cuban Coffee makes typical espresso seem like coffee at Denny's in 1974). So, I mix a huge bottle of CC (at 1 drop per 10 ml) and then use that mix to blend with other coffee-type flavors. I've gone as high as 2 drops per 10 ml, but then that burnt/acid thing is prevalent. However, I do make sure that "1 drop" is a BIG drop.

OR I just add 1 drop/10ml (Caramel Capp) to whatever 'coffee du jour' suits my fancy this week.

Honestly, I've NEVER found a coffee vape that's right. I spoiled myself right off the bat with Virgin Vapors Dark Turkish Roast (awesome) and have never been able to come up with anything that's close. I tried making my own extractions, but couldn't get them strong enough (I'm going to revisit that soon).

FA's Espresso & Cappucino at 5% have fantastic flavor, but they severely dry my mouth/tongue after just a few vapes.

My current mix is:
(26 mls to fit into a 30ml dropper bottle - the dropper stops me from using a full 30 mls)

TFA Car Capp 3 drops
TFA Bavarian Cream 1.5%
TFA Dulce de Leche 1.5%
FA Tiramisu 8%

(sometimes I mix that blend 50/50 with straight Car Capp)

Also, HS Espresso is 'spot on' for flavor at around 5% - but has absolutely no depth (grrrr)....kinda like vaping a butterfly that flew over the espresso pot. Raise the percentage - get more butterflies.

The problem I keep running into (over & over & over & over & over...) is lack of "depth". My drinking coffee doesn't have to yield a caffeine punch like crack, but it has to have balls...and big ones. I don't want some airy-fairy coffee vape, I want "hit me with good strong coffee"! The Car Capp comes closest for me (the additives add depth).

Please let me know when/if you come up with a winner!

I went ahead and mixed 2 drops of Caramel Capp. in a 10ml bottle last night (70/30 PG/VG mix) and from the vape I just had, it was a HUGE mistake :). Those two drops came from a standard eye dropper drip tip and it's insanely overpowering to the point of being burnt with slight hints of what I would consider roasted garlic. Strange, yes - but that's how overpowering it is.

I tried to mellow it out with a few drops of caramel (various types), but no success there. Those 2 drops are still so overpowering, it's not possible to vape it without getting that sickening "feeling" in the back of my throat.

Once I vape away that horrid taste, I am going to do 1 drop per 12ml and balance it with caramel and some cream (whatever I have on me - I'll have to look at my stash) to see if we can balance things out a bit.

I can say for sure, for me, 2 drops per 10ml made me not want to finish my coffee this morning and normally I can drink a pot of coffee on my own in less than an hour - just love coffee. Not so much this coffee flavor though.

I'm pretty sure when they mix Kona Coffee @ TFA, they wear a face mask and protective eye gear. If it were my job to mix this or bottle it from a drum of flavoring, I'm pretty sure I'd lose my job as I just couldn't do it. There are things that smell far worse, yet far better than this does in a 10ml bottle.

I don't think I'll even try the Kona as I'd most likely want to do half a drop per 12ml on it.

No doubt about it - it's some seriously potent stuff! +1 for "horrid taste" of too much TFA CC!!!

If you wanna 'save it' - take two 10 ml bottles and put 5ml of what you have in each one - and then add 5ml of your 'base' and give 'em a warm bath & a few good shakes. It might just turn out to be vapable...especially now that it has some added caramel. But then again, immediately after a bad-vape-mix experience - it's usually better to 'just set it aside' for a couple-three weeks and come back to it later.

Agreed! It's just plain nasty.
