[Edit] tried to put a thumbs-up symbol in the title -- oh, well.

Got my pre-order today of the latest Vapor Kings and thought I'd share a few of my impressions.

Like the 2-hole atomizer. Much smoother, less noise.

Love the cola. As usual Steve/Mark went above the call of duty and included extras, so I get to try peach, marlboro and a few others. Lots of atomizers and 4 bottles of juice.

I like the blue LEDs, rather than orange -- makes it less confusing to people in places where they might think you're smoking an actual cigarette -- just something I prefer -- others may not.

Think the lettering is a bit too large on the atomizers. The V4L is fine but I think the lettering on the flavor and strength should be tiny and wrapped around the bottom. I know this is nitpicky and guess what, it almost doesn't matter to me, but I wonder if there are others who would like the cartridges to be a little less busy with all the lettering. On the other hand, I do love the fact that they are labeled and I can see by color-coding and text exactly what I'm putting on the battery.

Now, I realize I'm almost changing the subject, but since I've now got juices and I've read from Steve and others that you can fill the battery end of the cartridge, can anyone tell me how many drops are enough? Or do you just squirt in a certain portion of the tube, like say half, one third, etc. Appreciate any advice on this.

Paul

Ok, I found the answer that Steve had posted, 15 go 20 drops in the battery end. When I use up this cola cart I'll try one of the other flavors that way.

Paul,

I like to let it sit for HOURS to soak in better, this way it is like a NEW atomizer(cartomizer);)

I have been loading from the atomizer (cartomizer!) and it has worked well. I think keeping the plastic caps on it helps too. Since they are disposable, I am trying different things to get them to last long! Sometimes I can't get more than 10 drops in, but if I let it sit for a bit I can top it with about f more.

So far the Mbaro and Hilton are my favorites! Much superior to other companies I tried. They are GREAT! Now if I would just stop smoking when they empty and start smelling burnt, I will have it perfected! My first and only e-cig and I am glad I spent a few weeks doing the research. Steve has not only given me GREAT service, but I think I got it right the 1st time! Hang in there Steve! You have 3 loyal customers watching closely from Virginia's Western Highlands! Gregg

I tried refilling from the battery end and it just pooled....it wouldn't go down the hole. What am I doing wrong

I've noticed pooling when I placed my atomizer on a surface that was covered with plastic when filling. If I use a paper towel, I only get pooling after the atomizer is full. Right or wrong, I came up with it must be an air flow thing.

Figured it out...I thought you had to put the little plug thingy in it to keep it from just pouring right though, but I tried it without it and now it's working. Juice goes right in, and it doesn't come out the other end.

So just ignore me, i was having a blond moment, lol.

Yeah, but if that's your picture displayed you are a cute blonde !! :hubba:

Hey Smilin,
Just a note of thanks for the VK - been a long time waiting. Glad to see you got some of your stuff through customs and wish you luck in the future...

I got it Thursday when I returned from my business trip and have been using it steadily since. WOW!!! What a nice setup! I have burned through 2 cartomizors already but refilling them was a piece of cake! I am getting almost 6 hours out of a battery - that is unheard of with my other 2 models - it is clear to me the VK will be my item of choice when traveling.

Great job! And you have another SMILIN customer!!!
