Today is my third day without analogs after smoking for 20+ years!! No turning back now. Like many others on this site I had tried everything. Patches, gum, chantix, wellbutrin, hypnosis and of course cold turkey. The cravings were so intense I never made it very long.

I had never heard of e cig before last weekend when I noticed it was a topic on another message board (cruise critic) which led me to this site. The more I read the more intrigued I became and by Sunday evening I had placed an order for a starter kit.

I ordered the no box joye 510 PCC stater kit from cignot. Also ordered 2 extra bottles of e juice and 5 empty cartridges. The CS was great, they shipped on Monday and I had my kit Wednesday.

The 510 has been great! No issues or complaints what so ever. I was a little concerned about battery life, but it hasn't been an issue. I charge my PCC once a day, and change batteries around 4 times a day.

So far I have only tried tobacco flavors; marlboro, DK, 555, USA, and ecopure rich. The are all very similar and luckily I liked them all. My favorite is the 555 though.

I have already placed another order, lol. I ordered another basic no box starter kit so I have lots of back up parts, a big bottle of 555 and lots of yummy flavors to try.

It is amazing how much easier it has been to quit this time!! Really the only difficult time has been the mornings and even then it has been very tolerable.

Love being smoke free!!

here
I too came over from CC. Spend more time here then there......

I have had a few smokes since starting. I was having some problems working with the 510....don't have the time to be topping off. Bought the Ego-t and today was the first full day of use. Had a morning analog, and plan on making that my last. It will be hard to not light up the first smoke of the day, but I am going to give it my all!!

motivation to quit----By way of background, my wife & I are long time analog users and have failed at numerous attempts to quit; using numerous methods. I was recently diagnosed with throat cancer and underwent radiation & chemotherapy. Obviously, at long last, I had to quit smoking.
The cancer is currently in remission. (Note that one can never claim he/she no longer has cancer, only that it is currently in remission. In the same vein, a former smoker can never claim to be a non-smoker; only that he/she is currently not using tobacco products).

Good luck Okieguy! Did you order a kit?

Thanks everyone!! Wishing you all success!! Don't quit quiting.

I do top off a lot, but it is really quick and easy so I don't mind.

Contemplating on how I can bedazzle my e cig? Hot glue gun? Super glue? Can I paint it??

Lots of cruisers here!! I cruise in 9 days!! Woohoo!!

Welcome to ECF!

Aren't Ecigs like a miracle?!

You can jazz them up with nail art jewels and stickers:) I just ordered the most beautiful flower stickers from Ebay last night to put on my Infinity:

20 Blue Black Eye Sticker Nail Decals #03T - eBay (item 350440075862 end time Mar-17-11 00:23:55 PDT)

and of course I had to order doggy footprint stickers for when the flowers wear off:) I was thinking it would be fun to decorate my Ecig for the holidays too. Just search for "nail art" to find millions of stickers.

Congradulations, Your on the right track in that you have decided that this is what you want. I've been vaping for 15 months now. The first three I still used anologs while I got vapor working for me and new that I had every I needed so that I wouldn't be running out for smoke if something didn't work right. It takes being prepared and staying on top of things so you can keep going. After 3 months I had my last anolog and been smoke free for just over a year now. This past year has been some ride of vapor. Learning, modding, and changing. And most important for me is that now when I breath the wind in my throat is clear. No tickle, no rattle.
