Ok. I am only three weeks into this vaping thing, but I knew the first day that it was gonna stick. I started out with a kgo kit with stardusts. Yuck. Ordered an ego twist, things were going well once I got a cartomizer tank! My twist is ok, usually have it at around 4....but now the button is going all crazy and sticking and its so annoying! The place I bought is from already sent me a replacment, .... stuck worse than the first one, so I sent it back.
My question is, should I get the vamo, or the silver bullet? I've wanted a silver bullet since I knew they existed, but since Im used to 4volts on my twist, will I be dissappointed with the silverbullet? I like the price if the vamo, and it looks like it has a nice solid build....I also like how the vamo can be a mini....I guess Im just answering myself, get the vamo.... ;)
Any thoughts? Do you thumbs I might be ultimately happier with the bullet? Is the vape that much different than my original ego knockoff? How would it compare to 4 volts on the twist?
I'm not really good with all these decisions, and having to find the correct voltage or wattage, which batteries I need to charge, if I need that extra sleeve...but, if ill be lacking as far as a good vape with the sb, Im sure ill figure it out.
I'm definitely the type to start a ho
bby and buy professional gear the next week....which is why I have a solid koa wood ukulele over there, but I digress. Help.

Ya i loved the look of silver bullets from when i first saw them. Before I actually started vaping. While i was doing a lot of research on vaping, I tend to go in at the deep end whenever I take up something like this. I still havent bought one though. The colours are bloody great , i think that is one of the things that draws me to it. There arent enough mods with vibrant colours I do love the look of the new Bam too.

As far as the voltage question goes...that's only part of your vaping equation. You have the ohms (resistance) to take into consideration, too. If the voltage is lower (unregulated mods run the battery from 4.1 on down to needing a charge. With the bigger mAh batteries, that takes hours and hours) then using a LR carto (1.7 say) will compensate for the voltage. There's more to vaping than just the volts, after all! You need to figure out the watts you prefer...find a ohms law calculator online ...and then you'll know how to adjust your vape without having to rely on a chip that can fail!

So if I use lo res atomizers or carts, ill get a similar vape to what Im getting now with standard and higher voltage, right? I mean, it seems like just at 4 on the twist its perfect. I never go over 4 or 4.2....with all the juices I like....I just don't want to buy a sb and hey what the kgo delivers. I don't care about fiddling with lots of options, but I just want to actually taste the juice, ya know?

My ego twist is genuine the fake one was my starter.... and yes, this thing is not for me. Too skinny, I have the 1000 mah...and it doesnt last long enough. Most of a day... But I stay up LATE. ;)

If you're on the computer a lot, consider a pass-thru.

I also noticed you are not verified........if you're going to buy stuff and you get verified, you can sell stuff in the classies. Important for new vaporers, I think. That way, you buy a mod and then find you want something else in stead, get some of your $$ back or do a trade in classies.

Search "verified" here. I think you may need more posts first. :) Otherwise, it's REALLY simple and takes a week or 2 or 3.

One thing about the Silver Bullet is that is is tried and true on the other hand there is a thread on ECF about a "safety issue" with the Vamo

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/apv-discussion/351581-safety-issue-vamo-mod.html

For what it is worth.

Edit: In that same thread there are several members who have the Vamo on order. You might want to message them and see how easy the fix is for the issue and how they like the Mod in general. It may delay you purchasing but could be well worth it.

I saw that...looks like it has been fixed in newer versions....a plastic bumper between the top of the battery and the housing... I can manufacture that.... But, the stacking bats bothers me on some versions, and I guess it is a little new for the whole idea of "tried and true". Hmmm. They are so cheap! I guess I would be eating my words as Im chewing my teeth with half a face if Im wrong.... Jeez. Big stakes.... But, it can be a mini tooo... Lol.
