I had horrible problems with my throat, massive blisters. Every time I tried to step down in mg I would start dreaming about cigarettes. I ended up switching to all VG and staying at 18 mg. I've been doing all vg for about a month and the blisters are still healing. If I try to re-add PG my throat gets wrecked all over again. What started it all for me was a combination of PG and high voltage and a virus that blistered my throat. So I just wanted to add that you really need to start doing what you can to keep your throat happy.. you don't want to be like me and take months to fix it.

"The dry coil is capable of far exceeding the stated decomposition temp of VG"
Just a week ago I had issues with an atomizer that gave me throat burns similar to acid reflux. Few coil loops were too close to each other causing local overheat. I've noticed that even wet coil is red on one side. Replaced it with another atomizer, and burns are gone.

A dry coil is quite capable of exceeding the temp required for breakdown of VG (note the word dry, as in no VG present), however, a wet coil (i.e., one with VG present) is not. That's just my thinking, although if the OP is dry hitting any atty, I would *expect* throat burn. At least that's my thinking. Am I missing something?
