Throat Hit or Cloud? What is more important

A couple of friends of mine and I were debating what is more important....a throat hit or a vapor cloud.

So far between us 3, 2 say cloud, one says throat hit.

I am curious who likes what and why? I prefer the cloud simply because its more fun. I am trying to ween off the analog so I do not want that throat hit. but I figured I would ask here and get a consensus of sorts if possible! Thanks!

You've left out a third factor: FLAVOR

When I began vaping to quit smoking, I imagine all three factors were equally important to me to simulate the experience I had while smoking tobacco. However, well into my third year of vaping, flavor takes priority and throat hit and vapor production take a fall.

Throat hit is primarily the result of the nic mg concentration. I've dropped my nic mg from 18 down to 6 mg, so its no longer a priority. High wattage vapor can be harsh, so some people mistake that as throat hit. I prefer a cooler vape, so the smoother the better.

Vapor is primarily the vaporization of vegetable glycirin. I do like some decent vapor production, so my Pg/Vg ratio's are heavier in the Vg side.

I get the most satisfaction & enjoyment from the flavors. Vaping for me is not so much for the nicotine now, but for the "hand to mouth" and "inhaling/exhaling" something into my lungs behavior, which is still a large part of the old habit.

I just wanted to see in the community if there was an actual preference.

A balance of 5 factors for me.
My preference in order;
flavor, throat hit/lung feel, nicotine delivery efficiency, vapor temperature, vapor production.

I do think that everyone loves flavor, but it seems that some people are willing to sacrifice flavor for clouds. Personally, flavor is my #1 priority, followed by a bold exhale of vapor, and a mild throat hit.

I like throat hit and flavor. Huge "Bro" clouds are of no use to me. If I can see it when I exhale or blow 1 or 2 "vapor" rings it is enough for me.

I feel the same way!! Vapor part is fun, recreates the cigar/pipe feel and the taste is has got to be there.

I don't go for clouds but I prefer max vg. I also prefer tanks. That pretty much makes me a sub ohm tank user. I've got a lot of them in my quest to find the right one. I don't know why people like to look down on people who like vapor production though. "Bro Clouds" ? Not trying to start anything but I think that's unnecessary

Ohm Gnome....its all good. Everyone has an opinion.....everyone has the right.....if it doesn't hurt anyone, why bother entertaining it?

I couldn't give a rip about a cloud, or any exhaled vapor for that matter, and if I was clouding up the joint, my husband would probably exile me back outside... well, he'd TRY anyway. Without throat hit, I could NEVER have quit smoking. And without flavor, I'm sure I wouldn't carry on vaping, but probably go back to cigarettes. Or at the very least, still be searching high and low for a way to vape that actually gave me flavor. Fortunately I discovered Kayfuns pretty early.

Massive clouds result from my RDA flavor builds. I don't know what cloud with no flavor is like, since my clouds are insanely flavorful. Or maybe its just the way I setup the airflow. But it is massive vapor, warm and delectable. It makes my mouth water. It tastes better than my meals. But I certainly don't want to feel pain and horrible choking feeling when I enjoy my flavor and clouds. And I don't want to get sick on all the liquid I am consuming. So its 3mg only. Nauseating amounts of nicotine/throat hit is for masochists.

I'll vote like some others have. The one you left out, flavor. If I get my flavor and there is a lot of vapor from it so be it. I don't build for clouds and I don't find a throat hit enjoyable with vaping. Flavor is priority with my vaping.
