Do 0 nic pre filled cartos (any flavor) produce a throat hit?

A true throat hit is nicotine plus heat. So no. You can simulate it with some flavors - cinnamon, menthol, some of the 'red hot' and 'ice' flavors. Some actually add pepper.... But those are other type reactions than what you get with nicotine.

Id recommend not using prefilled cartos. If you fill your own you can control what you want much better. PG gives more TH than VG so youll want to get juice with a high ratio of PG or even 100%PG. 100%PG wont produce a ton of vapor though so Id try 90/10 or 80/20. Like someone else said, you can add some PGA and that will help to give you alittle more TH

I've been DIY'in my eLiquid from nearly the start of my vaping. For a year and a half I used Cinnamon Flavor. Used too much in batch about a month ago. Since then I've Blended just VG & PGA. Blending 33% PGA w/67% VG. I get absolutely NO throat hit. I don't miss the flavoring nor the TH. (And now, don't even miss the Nic). I call it, 0Nic0FA. I calculate it costs me roughly 6 cents for 3.5mL carto fill. (Most of that is the PGA, the VG is out 3 decimals). Days off I fill er 3 times. Costs me virtually nothing for eLiquid. . .and cartos last neigh onto forever. JMHO

I've tried throat his boosters/nic alternatives and none of them work, at least not the way nicotine does.

Throat Hit Plus: Relies mainly on ethyl alcohol. Does virtually nothing but add a little warmth to the vape.

Diablo Loco: Straight up (and ridiculously strong) capsaicin. Much more of an irritating throat hit that hits you much differently than nicotine.

FlavourArt Flash: The successor to QHit (which isn't made anymore). A blend of organic material and capsaicin. No nic-like throat hit, mostly mild capsaicin. Not particularly good, hits very differently (and much more mildly) than nicotine. Has a grassy flavour of its own that may influence additional added flavours.

Cinnamon: Does provide a throat hit that's closer to nicotine than capsaicin, but can also irritate the lungs.

Black pepper extract: Not much different than capsaicin. Adds significant peppery flavour.

In the end, I'm afraid there's just no substitute for the throat hit of nicotine.

There's some stuff called 'qhit' that's meant to emulate a nicotine TH but I've read it's more of a peppery afterhit than a true like-nicotine TH. I've been thinking of getting some in to try but haven't gotten around to it yet.

Qhit was replaced by this:

I use it at 1-2%.

I don't see how you'd get TH from a prefilled carto, 0 nic.
Why even spend money on a 0 nic prefilled carto?
If you are down to 0 nic you are going to save lots of money if you diy.
