Looking at the tracking. It should be here tomorrow.

2 questions tho.

Don't let the batteries go lower then ____?

And the other...I normally vape juice st around 8 watts. More then that and I find it doesn't taste that great. So I had intended to build a 1.6 ish coil. But with all the SO discussion around here lately. People are running 15 watts+ Doesn't that burn the juice taste wise

It would depend on what batteries you have purchased. If you have AW IMR or Panasonic CGR's, don't let them go below 2.5A.

As to what wattage to vape at, I think from what I have read and learned over the past couple years it is highly dependent on the liquid you are vaping. It would seem most tobacco and menthol vapes better at higher wattage and fruits or sweets at lower wattage... I'm sure others will chime in on this...

It's here it's here. Sat waiting by the door and then at 4:00 decided to go check mailbox. There it was.

First impressions. Silver vein is a lot darker then I thought it would be. It appears more of a dark grey. I am not displeased with how it looks.

Everything is smaller then I imagined. Months ago the Reo stood out as the be all end all. I was put off by it's apparent size and price. But as I continued vaping my search for a good consistent vape clouded out my desire for small and portable. I moved to an mvp because function was more important than form. But like I said the inconsistancy of clearos etc drove me here.

Upon opening the package...everything is so small. All the pictures here don't accurately represent. The grand is much smaller then I thought. And jesus is that really the RM2. I've watched videos etc. Surely mine is a miniature version of what I have seen.

But let's grab some wire. I'm an amateur in this department. Tried on various device but couldn't get anything to work right. 8 wraps later I was placing my coil. Everything looked good. Like I was wrapping coils for ever. Put it on my MVP. 1.8 ohms. More then I was shooting for but well within the ballpark of testing. Grabbed some cotton...rolled...inserted...trimmed. It all seemed like I'd done this a million times. Probably about 7 mins total and I've done less then 10 coils in my life.

Put in the battery and added juice. Half Tropical Fruit Cotton Candy/Half Menthol. Pulled the cap so I could see how hard I needed to squonk.

I won't exaggerate and say the experience was heavenly. But from someone with a really low level of skill it was pretty damn good. For the first time I can actually taste the cotton candy. Tropical fruit flavour is a bit muted.

Throat hit isn't quite where I want it. Will probably tear down shortly and rebuild at 1.5-1.6 and see. And I have an issue that one of the post turns when I try to tighten the screw. But I was too excited to try to investigate too much.

And for something I was months ago concerned about size. It certainly is smaller then what I've been carrying around for months.

YaY! You have passed your first step! See, we were not kidding saying it was smaller then most think.

You might want a little less cotton in the coil. That should improve the flavor and also soak more juice.

The trial and error is with coil builds and placement. It is a daunting quest to find what suits your style of vaping!

I am very happy for you!

Just raise your coil a little bit. That'll increase TH. Oh, and squonking every hit or two is a great thing. That means your wicking and vaporizing efficiently and introducing fresh juice more often rather than precooked juice :)

Here's your fat lady. Take a pull off her RM2(s) and squonk every hit.

Jk should be along to tell you what he put in them. Congrats and welcome :)

Congrats! Love your REO! I am wanting to buy one but I have a ton of questions and don't know where to start. I don't even own a mechanical. I want it at least for my summer gear. Was just gonna buy a mod but I prefer to drip and carrying a mech and a bottle etc seems like a lot. All of mine so far are plug an play like my MVPs they are my main vape. I figure a mechanical if it gets wet I may loose the batteries and the juice in the tank if Im using one. This would be a better option all the way around but I am on a pretty strict budget. Ive been looking at them used but they hold their value so well I feel like I may as well pay the extra little bit of money and get a new one. Is there an advantage to the subohm kit if you don't subohm? Yes I am beginning the questions prepare yourselves lol.

Here is a great place to start:

Yes there are advantages to the sub ohm contacts - the mod runs more efficiently increasing battery life and power at the coil. But you can vape just fine without the contacts too.

Please feel free to ask away. We got your back :)

72 hours in. The Reo had awakened some flavours in juices I hadn't tasted before. And also unfortunately awaken some flavours in juices I hadn't tasted before.

The experience has been good. It was real nice when I did hit a flavour I didn't like. Rinse bottle. Blow tube. Pull wick. Dry Burn. New wick. All in a few minutes and I'm back in business.

Still trying to learn battery life. Fully charged before work today. Maybe 3.7-3.8 when I got home from work. 3.5ish by bedtime maybe.

I generally don't look while squonking so still getting that habit down. Have to keep an eye on the bottle because a squonk at full does not equal one at 1/4 full.
