Hi

I haven't had my mini very long, but compared to my other BF it has a very tight draw with my 306s. I know it's an airflow problem, because it hits much better when I loosen the atty - but I mean loose loose, not like I overtightened it to begin with. Has anyone used a 510 to 510 adaptor?

Different brands of 306 atty's will hit different on the REO's. I was use to the tighter draw when I used them. You must be careful about making the atty too loose. They need good contact to prevent a short.

Robert does not recommend using a adapter. There have been a lot of shorts caused by using them.

When I used 306s, some of them had a tight draw. I would take a small paper clip and widen one or both of the holes at the base of the 306. A sturdy needle would work also. Just jiggle to widen it and do one and test it before you do the other hole as that might just be enough.

Thanks for the replies. I poked a pin around in the holes and it got a bit better. I'm going to poke it some more later.

Another question: have any of you had the paint come off in the drip well? I jus noticed it when I was poking around.

One of mine did. The other well I took it off. But the first one I think it wa from sitting with juice in the well for an extended time.
Another thin if you like an easy draw I highly recomend a RM2 atty you can bore the hole out to suit.

What brand of 306 do you guys recommend or use. I've had good luck with the cisco's, but they are rather expensive. Any others out there that are just as good?

I'm using joyetech 1.5Ω 306s. I know they are cheap, but I've always used them for dripping. It's only on the mini they have a tight draw. I'll probably get some Ciscos fairly soon and give them a try. I also have some bridgeless/de-wicked around here somewhere. I'm going to give them a spin when I find them.

Thanks! I'm going to start wiping it more often. The RMS is RBA, yes? I don't do that. :)

ETA: What kind of juice were you using?
