Tight fitting Tank on eGo-t Mega tanomizer

I got my new t-atomizer in (emergency buy while waiting on my drip stuff and carto-tank combo's to get in next week) and this atomizer and cartridge are just not fitting together right. First off, the tank still has a 3mm gap between the "ridge" on it before it hits the atomizer, and now I can't even pull it off.

Any suggestions? I can attempt to find my camera and take a picture if someone needs... but it will take me a while my son borrowed it for his 4H club LOL.

Did you buy the right cartridge for the atty (is the atty type A or type B? Same question goes for the cartridge).

It was a combo set, atty + tank pack from Digital Ciggs Mega size. I'm desperate to run it my last atomizer burned out earlier today.
