I have a iTaste VV and a MVP 2. I generally use a Protank 2 on both and on the VV the draw is perfect. But on the MVP the draw is a little tighter. I examined the fit on both and the VV has some space between the tank and the beauty ring. There's no space on the MVP ring. Plus the slots on the top of 510/ego connectors are deeper on the VV. what's the best way to start adjusting the airflow on the MVP? Drill out the MVP ring air holes? Then maybe sand down the top of the ring with some fine sandpaper? Just don't wanna mess anything up. Thanks!

P.S. I tried searching the site and the MVP Owners group but had no luck.

I drilled out the beauty ring, and it helped a little. I then drilled 2 of the air holes to 1/16" on the Protank 2 (they are at the base of the 510 thread), and it made it to where I like it. I did both of these one hole at a time. Not sure how this will affect the draw on the VV. I have a Vamo for back up , and the draw was too tight on that as well for me.

I also drill 2 of the air holes on the ego base of my Evod heads. I believe drilling also helps prevent leaks, because I was drawing too hard, and messing up the vacuum inside the tank.

Going to try the base 1st then go from there. Hopefully drilling the base might help enough....

May be oversimplifying here, but have you tried just barely tightening the PT2 till the point it will fire, then screwing the beauty ring UP to seat against/support the tank properly and see if that improves the airflow?

There's a possibility it will, because the airholes on the PT won't be as 'deep' in the 510 connector as it was when the tank was fully tightened down.

Tried that. As soon as I tightened the ring up to the tank the draw went tight again.

I have to do this with mt PT2 and it works.
