Congrats, MTV! Hope the new PVs work out for you. I got a new set of eGo-Ts today, and stopped mid-pack. This is my second go-around (first attempt was with the mall kiosk e-cigs), and I'm loving that the eGo-T is a million times better than the e-cigs I used before.

Definitely concur with sampling the flavors.

Again, my best wishes in your journey.

Bought the E9(GreenSmoke) before I found the forum:( That is why I bought the SB. If I need another daytime rig I'll not hesitate to get one!
Good, because I was a bit worried when I read that E9 stuff.
If I'm not mistaken, the E9 is a KR808D-2 which is hard to find replacement parts for.

If I'm right, then thanks to Dormouse for the information.
And Dormouse could also provide links to find replacement parts at decent prices.

If I'm wrong then I'm sure Dormouse can set the record straight.
:)

But in the end, the KR808D-2 and/or the E9 are not easily supportable.

I see you are in MO. If you are near the STL area a group of vapers get together on the 3rd Sat of the month at Sidepockets in St. Charles. 4:30 pm till late. Anywhere from 15 to 45 people show up including a couple vendors. Lots of juice to sample and just about every e-cig there is to try.

Welcome MTV!!!!!!! You've made a remarkable decision in that you're ready to put down the cigs. I know what you mean.....you decide to do it, then you have to wait 3 or 4 days......drumming your fingers.....saying, 'hurry up!'

As far as what you ordered as far as equipment.....I've been using a Joye 510 for almost a year. I know some of the equipment, but am e-cig e-gnorant. I leave all of that to the X-perts on the board, 'cause it sure isn't me!:laugh: Good to have you on the board! Again, WELCOME!:)

    in a cave, eh?
    Well, the word on the E9 is that there's plenty of vapour, but no flavour. See the reviews on GreenSmoke. The Vapor King, on the other hand, is a KR808D-1 and it should serve you better. If you don't like the E9, the KR808D-1 should serve you well. It certainly wouldn't hurt to put the E9 through its paces to figure out what you need for a daytime rig and what you might want in a PCC. But, you probably don't want to be investing any extra money in your E9.

    I used E9 from GreenSmoke for 4 months at the beginning. Well, they are not bad and you can easily refill cartomizers. Battery capacity is low, so if you are going to use E9 at work have a spare charger at work. I charged my E9s 24/7. One more advice, if you will need more E9 batteries don't buy them from GreenSmoke as I did. They are overpriced. I bought good E9 from China for just $10. Even with costly delivery it was much less expensive.

    Glad to hear someone with a positive experience of the eGo-T since I have a half price voucher for one that I'm strongly considering taking up (I have a thread up about it somewhere)

    Well done on a momentous decision mtv. Hope your kit arrives soon. Whatever you do if you decide to go for a different PV in a regular usage slot, my advice is that unless cash is crazy tight you should keep the less good one as a spare. It can really save your ..., especially if, like me, you have a slight tendency to absent-mindedness ;
