Just so ya'll know, I just beat the shizz out of a grand and it worked perfectly after. I didn't film it though. Just kidding :). I filmed it and hope to have it up tonight - new SSD is being installed right now or id put it up now.

Any doubts about 510 durability shall be banished by this vid :)

Damn, you're beating the crap out of them in a video? Like...a "snuff" movie? I don't need to see that kind of stuff, it'll give me nightmares, even though I know the Reo will survive in the end.

Trust me you will be surprised by the ending. And yes, this was a true torture test, but done in ways only a mind as deranged as mine would do it. I enjoyed it immensely :)

I got my TRA Grand back today, yippie. :) I gotta ask, when you tighten down the atty, in this case an LP RM2, just how tight is ok. Do you tighten down as much as possible by hand, or just snug. I don't want to really wrench it down by hand if that's too much. A good up to date video would do.

Edit: I understand the positioning the air hole procedure, so that's not a problem.

I tighten it pretty much as hard as I can with my hand. With the top off the atty. :)

There's a segment on it on my recent contact battery inverted v vid :)

The video showed me what I wanted to know, thanks again. :)

Any time my brother. I talk much better (and more) than I type :). I aim to have a vid on any possible question. Problem is the info people want is usually buried in layers of me rambling :) I'm working on that.

Ya'll are my only outlet for my vape enthusiasm so I get excited talking about it and don't know when to stop.

The other truth is that aside from my wife (who could give two shts about my vape obsession) , my business partners and my mom, the connections I've made here are the only adults I really mix it up with - the rest of the time is just kids duty. So it's good to talk to other like minded adults even if it is just talking to a damn camera :)

I have sent two Grands in for the fix. I will say that Rob wastes no time, I mean no time, doing the work. Your mod will not sit around waiting to get attention. Both of mine were fixed and out the next day after arrival in Maine. The new 510 is well worth the money. That connection makes leak proof tank of a connetion. Getting the hang of adjusting the 510 is a learned skill that takes a little practice but it is far easier than learning rebuildables. Changing atomizers quickly becomes second nature. On the other hand, the thing is so solid that if you want to leave the atomizer on the machine then you can dry burn without removal. I use ReadyXWick and I can see using the set up for a long time with burn, rinse with water and juice it up.

Sum it up, I am very glad that I sent mine in for the change. :toast:

Yahoo! Got my beloved mini back with the new 510 connection in it., plus a Reo 3 single. I need to adjust the 510 to line up with the atty. I remember reading about how, but don't remember. I also remember a thread specific to that, but we Reonauts are a verbal lot and after searching pages and pages, I thought I would pose it here.

Where might I find the scoop? I know it had to do with turning one counterclockwise and the other clockwise....also, what tool do I use with the atty? Don't want to wreck it, she's been away for too long. (Actually, Rob's turn around time is amazing. I just live on the other coast).

Thanks all..

Thank you Opl (fellow San Bernardino-ite. I think I mentioned that I was born there in 61 and lived there until '83. Moved to Corona for a few years before moving up North. Will always have a sweet spot in my heart for San Berdoo and those mountains. Got down there last year to visit family in Banning).

Good evening. Will check the video now.
