Time goes by........ 8/26/14

I miss the phone ringing and it being my mom on the other end. Passed away from emphysema. Strange I used to sigh when the phone rang as she called about 5 times a day everyday and I always seemed to be busy. Now it seems like I have all the time in the word but the phone doesn't ring with her calling.

My Grandma had this phone till it would no longer work and the phone company made her change it.

I tried to find images, but they conflicted with my memory. My friend and I used to refer to a certain type of jeans as dungarees. Looking them up, they just say it's another name for blue jeans. What we called dungarees were tight tight tight...all the way from the waist to the knee, or slightly below. Then they flared into a bellbottom. Unlike regular 'bellbottoms', these were a tighter fit. We would pair those with a halter top, some platform shoes, and go shoot pool at the local watering hole.
We were terrible! Bordering on a bad word that starts with an "S"....

Yeah it came with the house my parents bought. The little old lady that owed the house never changed it and well we didn't. The house is over 200 years old.
