Time to lower nic?

Tonight was at Dart Leagues and had a couple strong drinks, of course that tends to make chain vaping happen. Currently i have 2 set ups with different nic level, my all day vape (20w istick) is 12 mg nic, sometimes i get light headache after drawing 6 times over 30 min span, 4 to 6 sec draws. my night vape (Atlantis/SubOHM) is 6 nic, i also got light headache as well. i've only been vaping for maybe 30 days now with approx. 1 n half pack of analogs smoked, is it that time already to drop both to 6mg nic and 3 mg nic respectively?

Hi Vanner and welcome aboard!

Only your body will know and it sounds like it's telling you to do just that. My advice would be to give the lower nic a try and see what happens. Headaches are no fun.

I'm also a chain vapour and most e-liquids are "standard" 12mg ~ 18mg etc. My trick is to dilute with Propylene Glycol (cheap stuff from the chemist). Of course, it lowers the flavour significantly so I infuse Menthol Crystals into my PG. I must say, the menthol actually boosts the flavour (if you like minty stuff). I am able to chain vape ALL day without headaches.

Currently at 6mg going to make a batch up soon at 3mg.

All you can really do is try it Vanner. When I lowered nic levels I did it in 3 mg steps, but everyone is different. I started with 18 mg juices and went to zero nic in about nine months. Can't hurt to try. You can always go back up a bit if needed

Sometimes it's just the flavors or PG/VG ration of the e-liquid itself that is the problem. If you've been vaping the same flavor or brand, you might want to try mixing it up and see if that helps.

I do mix my flavors up, sweet tasting fruit flavor during the day, and lime berry flavor for subohm.. Planning on switchin the lime berry to my 20w istick (gives me good dang reason to clean up my GeniTank) after i get a different flavor 3 mg nic for the subohm. and i notice people im around likes the sweet fruit smellin' (Fruit Xplosion) more than the lime one. so may as well give them sweet smelling clouds

Give 3mg nic a shot, Im in the same camp where if I chain vape 6mg I get too much of a nic rush and get lightheaded. 12 would blow my head off

got 3 mg nic of fruit explosion, it's boss with the Aspire Subohm. goes down smooth, even my buddy was surprised on how smooth it was and he was wondering "when should i stop?" I think he's convinced that his current setup will not do its job to prevent him from doing analogs, although i gave him my Aspire CFVV stick and couple of et S clearos, should be up to snuff.

also used the istick for the berry limeaide 6 mg, it tastes just right compared to the sour part being harsh on subohym
