I can't be the first to have considered using a timer for charging my X2's. Something like these:

Anyone use one? Recommendations? Thanks.

I use our Christmas tree timer into a surge protector when I leave the house. At night I let it go 'till I wake up. still trying to figure out how to get rid of the alien blue spaceship beam that lights up the whole room.

Considering I leave laptops, tablets, phones you name it plugged in overnight, I am not convinced there is much difference in the two.

Sitting down, facing forward.
X2 batteries stop charging, totally, when the LED goes out. 9mm batteries maintain a trickle charge, about 10ma, after the LED goes out which is not recommended for lithium batteries. "Best practice" is to remove them from the charger once the LED goes out for safety purposes.

Just my opinion, worth what you're paying for it, your results and mileage may vary, no warrantee or guarantee is expressed or implied.
