Hello to everyone in this section. I just saw this for suppliers, recipes, and the like. First off, WOW, what a bunch of reading. I enjoy it, because that is how I learn things. I was a noob at first in building coils, now I can build my own coils decently, not professional grade yet, but enough to save loads of money and to get by. I seriously am trying to lower my NIC counts to 0 and just keep vaping. I enjoy the flavors and am really just vaping for the flavors that last a long time. I have found that Coffee, Licorice, and Whiskey/Lemonade are some of my favs. I have however not been able to come a cross a mint juice that was actually good. I really want to experiment with that. I am putting my toe into the water to save more money and to try to DIY liquid. Is there such a thing as no nicotine flavoring, PG, or VG solutions out there? Thank you for your time and effort to help me get in the right direction?

Hi @Kitty-Nin . First I'll give you a few more links to recipes, check the French site and the clone sites for different versions.

I use the top 3 suppliers the most. You can also get VG & PG :
PG/VG Tractor Supply carries PG (gallon + they sell syringes, all in livestock section)
http://www.essentialdepot.com/ <---has a sale on almost all the time, look for coupons
https://www.dudadiesel.com/

And you should use a juice calculator:
E JUICE CALCULATOR
http://ejuice.breaktru.com/ <--download I use
http://ecigvape.com/pgvg_calculator.php <---online

I mix my recipes by volume, using ml measurements in a syringe, but to each their own. I also use the 100mg nic, it takes less in recipes and is really easy to work with. I don't have any children or pets to worry about and ALWAYS wear eye protection (glasses). Other than that I treat it like drain cleaner, wipe up any spills. It's not that caustic that getting a little on my hand concerns me (I don't wear gloves) I just rinse it off.

Good luck in your journey.

I don't know of any flavorings that come with nicotine. You can buy nicotine in a pg or vg base, but most diy'rs buy pg. vg. and nicotine separate (nicotine will always be diluted in pg or vg). I use the 100mg nicotine in a pg base but my nic level in vape is down to 1.5 mg or less so it doesn't have much effect on the mixes. If you have a nic level thats high you'll probably want a vg based nicotine.

Most of the diy suppliers will have a "starter kit" of syringes, gloves (I don't use), some kind of implement to mix in like graduated cylinders (I use the bottles), goggles (I wear cheater glasses), flavors, pg and vg and nic.

I'd first advise watching a few you tube video's on mixing so you can actually see it done. Then I would advise looking for recipes (pick out a couple from the clone lists to start) making notes of the flavor AND manufacturer needed as not all flavors are in the same concentration. Then you might want to check out these blogs :

DIY BLOGS
Dannyv45 - http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/blogs/dannyv45.130984/
Hoosier - https://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/blogs/hoosier.28401/

The best thing you can do BEFORE diy is read. Once you have your lists, then go shopping. Or you can post your list here and ask for opinions of what else you might need. You might want to look into "steeping" from the search box in the upper right above your name and avatar too.

Good luck in your journey.

Trust me I know about steeping. Some liquids I have had to steep for 1 month to get just right from vendors. I have a steep box already made. As for the research part I will continue to read and look ahead to what I need. Thanks again. If anymore out there have ideas let me know. I am a quick learner and will listen to just about any advice right now. I am trying to save money here for a hobby I am really enjoying right now.

There is a lot to learn in making your own juice. I used syringes, just got tired of the never ending cleaning of syringes. I mix by weight now and it way more accurate than syringes, just be sure to get the weight-per-gram of your bases to plug into the calc. I'm a tobacco lover so I really have no interest in building clone recipes, just perfecting an all day tobac vape is more interesting to me.
I like mint vapes but with no menthol. I find the loranns creame du menthe a real nice mint at 1.5% mixed into a already steeped Hangsen highway or desert ship. I use a lot of Hangsen tobacs as bases for my other flavors, it IMO pops out the other flavor. I can't vape commercial juice at all no more, since I began DIY I now know how sweet those commercial juices are and I add no sweetener at all to my vapes. I drink a fraction of the water I use to vaping storebought juice so I'm not up several times in the night ....... I should have taken up juice making a couple years back and still kicking myself for not doing so and looking at umpteen bottles of commercial juice I will never vape again.
Good luck and have fun on the new path your on along your vape journey. :)

Diy is great, definate $ saver, well.....flavor accumulation can become an "addiction" too honestly if you allow it....I love the reading and researching aspect of it, New flavors and techniques to explore, it's a great time to diy with many sites(here, vu, elr, reddit, diyordievaping.com), more interesting than building coils in my opinion ONLY(hubs may disagree here) but I like the variety, welcome to the wonderful world of diy(sir2nuts answered your questions as usually does kindly for many here)
