Tired of "Tanking" bad juice when I get it. Drip Setup???

One that that has been getting on my nerves is I'll get new juice, let it steep about a week, put some in a tank (vapor4life carto tank OR Vivi Nova tank), and then I don't like it, so then my carto/tank needs to be cleaned to try other juice.
Sounds like the only way around this is to get a drip setup to try out small amounts of juice before "tanking" them.

What is a basic/good drip setup I could get?
AND
I may not fully understand what dripping is. haha

I currently have eGo Twist batteries and Vapor4Life batteries, perhaps I could still use these.

Thanks in advance!!!

For dripping, you just need an atomizer. Any old atomizer will do, but some are better than others. The idea is that you just drip juice from the bottle onto the coil (which has some wick in and around it) and vape it.

It takes some learning/practice to anticipate when you'll get dry hits and to not flood the atomizer.

Personally, I'd suggest the 510H from avidvaper.com. I like it. But I'm not sure it's actually better than any random 901 atomizer (with an adapter)……and there's just something about the 901s that I like. I'm not sure what it is.

But, you kind of already own one. You can just use your vivi nova without filling the tank. Take the top cap & silicone thingie off and just drip a few drops straight onto the coil. Put the silicone thing, cap, and drip tip back on, and vape it. It should work just fine, but I haven't tried it.

Some flavors will go away quickly while some will not. Just be careful not to run that wick dry when you are using it with nothing in the tank. Like Mikey said, an atomizer is the best choice for dripping. I have found a happy medium in the mini or shorty cartomizers. They are cheap and only hold 10-15 drops of juice, so it's easy to move on to the next flavor.

the long barrel holds more juice and gives a slightly cooler vape, as well as keeps the juice from splashing up into your mouth as easily...it's my preferred set-up to use the long barrel...treat that atty right and it can last a VERY long time.

i also have ego batteries. (twist 1000 mah and 650mah) i use a low resistance 306 atomizer. vaporcigzz.com has a drippers bundle for around 16.00 it gets you everything you need to drip juices(atomizer, drip tip, drip shield, and spacer) and try new things. this was my first dripping set up i bought and i still use it. its under the atomizer tab on the site. hope this helps.

Well, I'm going to suggest something other than dripping on an atty or using a cartomizer. Number one, I don't drip, never got the hang of it. I won't bore everyone with my experience. I did use shorty cartomizers to test new juice flavors in initially, but that turns into a waste if you don't like the flavor, as the carto is not reusable for the most part.

I use ce3s. These go by different names depending upon the vendor: ce2s, ce3s, clear cartomizers. Just look for the following:

ce2.jpgce3.JPGce2-1.jpg

These only have a capacity of 0.5-1.5ml, and that's all you really need to figure out if you like a flavor or not. Once you decide, empty any remaining juice and rinse with water, and fill up with the next flavor. That's the beauty of these things - they are re-usable. Pretty cheap, too. Less than a couple bucks each, usually sold in a 5-pack for less than $10. The only downside to these is they require filling and emptying with a syringe and needle, but it is easy to do. I believe the next generation will not require a needle/syringe.

If all you plan on doing is test juices, then I wouldn't bother doing the HH.357 unless you really just want to. A Cisco-spec 510 atty is really all you need (SR510 Standard Resistance Atomizer 2.5 ohm (Cisco Spec) - Avid Vaper). You'll also need a drip tip but you may already have one.

Since Cisco attys don't ship with primer, just put the drip tip on the atty and screw it onto your existing battery, drip about 5 or so drops and give it a few seconds to soak in and fire it up. To switch between juices, if you have access to a PGA like Everclear or vodka, unscrew the atty from your battery, drop 5-10 drops in it and blow it out.

I sure would like to know what makes the Cisco spec and others any better than a Joye 510 at three times the price. I recently saw one for $45....can't recall the name. The long barrell holds more juice? I guess that's a plus, but still, wow.

I believe Cisco-spec attys are mass produced to Cisco's specifications (thus the name :p) and use a thicker resistance wire so they are less likely to fail. The HH.357s are built to order from scratch here in the U.S. and so are thus, more expensive.

And where do you buy these Baditude?

510 threaded ce3 (1st generation), require included syringe to fill, 5-pack for $10. AltSmoke.com | Personal Vaporizers | Electronic Cigarette | Ecigs | CE3 Cartomizer - Elite Bottom Coil CE3 Cartomizer

The Nano is a 510 thread ce3 that has a 1 ml juice capacity and requires no syringe to fill. Twist off top cap. I believe any drip tip you already have will fit on these, too. $3 each. AltSmoke.com | Personal Vaporizers | Electronic Cigarette | Ecigs | Nano Clearomizer - 510 Thread

For 808 threaded batteries, Smokeless Image sells their version of ce3s and the Nano: http://smokelessimage.com/filter-tips/clearonano.html

Most online vendors sell a similar product, usually listed in the cartomizer or clearomizer category.
