Hello all! I've been reading this forum since I started vaping about 5 years ago (i smoked a few analogs on my bachelor party 3 years ago, but other than that, I'm ash free), and I finally joined. Anyway, enough about me. I bought a kanger protank 3 a few weeks ago after using a trophy tank for a solid year or so. Before that I was using a kanger protank 1. Anyway, it is the glitchiest device I've ever used. I'm using vision spinners from discount vapers, which have worked fine in the past, but this tank just stops working! I'll clean the coil, replace the coil, dry burn, water bath, etc... and sometimes when I go to take a draw NOTHING HAPPENS, i clean it and blow it out, and it will work on the battery, but when i put the tank on NOTHING HAPPENS. Then I clean it out again, dry burn (you get the idea) and by the third time it goes back to working. It is incredibly frustrating! Should I go back to the trophy tank with the single coils, or am I doing something wrong with this new guy? Any help would be appreciated.

K Thx Bye!

Come on guys... The op is asking about a problem and you all jump in suggesting other brands / models....

If nothing is happening then the issue should be a contact problem.

1. When you say nothing happens, you mean really nothing? No crackling sound, heat, nothing?

2. If the above is true, check the connector on the atty and also on the battery. Many times the positive pin on the battery is pushed down by the atty (could be even a different one from the one that is giving you headaches) and then there is no contact.

On my old ego Batts but also on my itaste vv v3, I had to stick a little screwdriver between the insulation ring and the positive brass ping and use it as a lever to make the pin go up just half a millimeter or so. This usually solves 95% of all contact problems

If you do this and it works, stop using multiple attys on the same batt. One of them is longer (or that Protank has a shorter contact base) and this will mess up the contact.

Good luck

Regards
Tony
