Ok, so I have 1 "knock off" vivi nova and 3 "genuine" stv vivi novas, and the 3 stv's are giving me non stop problems, they all leak at the bottom! Today i actually saw the juice seeping out of the bottom park of the tank, and when i took it off my vamo there was a ton of juice build up, inside the connection part and around the rim on top..

I am looking into permanently replacing the vivi's and never using them again because I don't feel like i should buy something just to have to wrap it in tape, or alter it in any way.

I will be getting the innokin itaste SVD mod (drool) very soon, along with a u-dct tank with cartos, and also some iclear 30's.

is there anyone who switched from vivi's to iclear30's and all their problems went away?

I had nothing but problems with the std Nova myself, I loathed it. I switched entirely to the mini-Nova and it's a pretty darn reliable unit. There is a sweet spot to keeping it filled and I only use the 2.8 or 2.4 ohm heads.

I second mjt.

I have the itaste mvp w/ a bunch of iclear 16's, which have been good, but not *great*.. I use them regularly and they perform well enough.. but I decided to try a mini nova, just cuz.. and wow. the mini nova's use a different wicking system than the regular nova's.. and I've never had a dry hit, plumes of vapor, draw is perfect.. I can't praise them enough, honestly.

I also have a couple tanks and whatnot.. but I keep going back to the mini's. I need to order more.

What are "stv" vivi novas? The only real ones I know about are made by Vision. They don't leak on me at all. But, I hate the silica in the wicks. I'm going to try cotton in them.

No problems with my mini nova! I recently switched to cotton instead of silica, and WOW... it wicks much better now. Only a minimal amount of twirling is needed to keep the wick wet. Idk about the regular novas, but if they are set up like the mini, the bottom cap is pressed fit together, and can loosen up occasionally, just press it back together, and all should be fine. Thats the only time mine have ever leaked, and is usually a result of being in my pocket.
The vapeonly bcc has been a beast for me as well, Havent had a single leak or gurgle from it yet, however, the original heads were useless... Whoever wrapped the coils was an idiot, cuz they wrapped them so tight, they just choked the wick. A quick recoil set them straight tho, and now it vapes almost if not AS good as my nova.
