Sorry for your loss. :(

Would a group hug do? Or would that be too much?

It's ok- I WILL resurrect this until I can order a new one! (wouldn't mind having a spare anyways!) I just panicked at first because I'm always running around like a chicken with my head cut off - and the lanyard is sometimes the only way I can get that "quick fix" while I'm running around... Like I said - I LOVE this thing! (ok, the truth is, I've become completely reliant on it!)

And all hugs are always welcome! :D

At most fabric and craft stores they sell plastic, leather and suede lacing in various diameters.

Yup- that's exactly what I'll be using. I have some black leather string from back in my crafting days. (pre-baby... no time now!) Thanks goodness I hate throwing stuff away! :D

Can't you just tie a knot in it?

Nah- my daughter is too crafty! See, when she breaks something, she makes SURE she does it right!

Where it snapped was closer to the bottom (near the ecig holder thingy) I could probably redo the knots, but I really suck with knots! I'm just going to user that leather string I have and tie that in a simple knot for now. No biggy - I just panicked at first! :)

later edit- Opps, guess we both keep typing over each other! My bad! >.<

I need one with a pocket clip on it ....im not into stuff around my neck ...had the Ex's hands around my neck too much In the past I guess.... made me skiddish

So if anyone (DrkLashes ?) has a broken LL I may be interested in buying it so I can see if I can mod it to go in my pocket and stay there...IE: a techno-geek vaper pocket protector of sorts!

I would, but I'm not sure I can part with mine just yet!

But if you're looking for a "clip type" you could try-
Ecig Case
I had one for my 510 and it worked great (but hubby snatched it when I donated my 510 to him)- but I'm sure it wouldn't fit a xl batt.

The other thing I used to do was attach a tire gage clip to mine. The only downfall is it can scratch up the battery finish.. Though that was on my 510- the finish on the VK's seems much sturdier to me, but it still may scratch.. I'm not sure on that one! :)

Hehe- hey don't feel bad! My husband is an industrial mechanic so we have those things (well a little bit of everything in god's creation) laying around the house- and I never would have though about it if I hadn't read someone doing it here on the forum! (That's why I love it here- soooo many smart & creative people!) I also did the same thing with the gage clip- instead of clipping it on my shirt or something, I clipped it on a dog tag chain like a "ghetto lanyard". It was actually kind of cool, but it was scratching my 510 batts so badly that I gave it up!

Thanks Lisa, I will check out the case link ... but I may have to drill a hole to accommodate my XLs .... they work soooo good !

Its funny, I was actually thinking about the tire gauge clip idea, but on the lanyard..(I'm an x -auto tech so I have about 10 of them I think!); And here I thought I had an original idea !!
