Hi everyone, I just picked up some Titans as part of a group buy with someone in my area. I got them and noticed a couple of differences from what I see on the internet:

-it doesnt have vent holes above the locking mechanism, which is the main concern I have
-it has a silver/aluminum colored positive pin.
-it doesn't say lock or unlock around the fire button
-it doesnt look double layer on the top part

I complained and the guy says this is the newest v1.5. Can someone let me know? For someone reason this site is not letting me upload the pic. But

I recently contacted someone asking about their listing at a certain site, because they had the mod titled "Titan v2.0".

The person emailed me back with this information:

"I bought these directly from the factory in the Philippines. They told me to call it a v2.0. The differences from a v1.5 are the standard silver plated connector pins for better efficiency. Also there are no vent holes drilled on the lower part of the body for a cleaner, smoother overall look."

Hope this helps a little bit!
Seems that this is how they're made now.

I'm def interested in picking one of these up and I was a bit worried about the lack of extra vent holes...I hope since the manufacturer made this design change it's still just as safe.

Nowhere
Zen hybrids don't have vent holes and this is the venting explanation

The switch mechanism has air space designed into it; in the event of a battery that vents, the gasses will pass through the air space and out the sides between the button and the switch housing. The gasses will cause the air channel to increase with pressure. This is by design.

Maybe something similar...or...they just took them out. I can't say for sure but I haven't seen a listing on any vendor for a version 2.

At the very least make sure you use good IMR's and throw a fuse in there until you find out.
