I have been enjoying 6V with my BB since late october with unprotected cr2's and no blow ups yet! i know im going to get a lot of crap for it but Oh well!
And just how was I supposed to do this when they were unheard of? they wont work with a 510 atty, I bought them from mad vapes and the protection circuit wont let them work.
Dont MASH CR2's into the BB -.- I.E. Don't force them to fit!

Unless you cram them in there, and even then these are the first version of these batteries. Some people are reporting that using a 510 trips the PCB. We will get them when they're ready.
To clarify, I tried protected batteries in my BB and although they fit the diameter, it was unattractive length-wise. The cap would not screw on flush. It would vape, but it wasn't sexy So, I am back to using the SouthSummit batteries in it. The protected ones do however fit another mod I use and that is what I purchased these for.

I vape only 6v in mine too and they are unprotected. I've been doing this since the day I bought it and so far so good. I guess I'm just a risk taker. I keep looking for a protected cr2 but so far I haven't found one. I have 3 sets of rechargeables that I just keep rotating.
