Not all RBAs leak, but most Genesis do but I hear some dont. I have an Odysseus and it does not leak, but its not a Genesis. Every type of system has its quirks/ pros and cons. But for me, leaking would be a definite con. I have to have something that can be put on its side or in a bag.

Many love the Genesis experience , I tried it but at least for me it was not for me. I like the Odysseus , but for many its not for them, be it the taste of the silica or the joining of the resistance or non-resistance wire.

At least there are choices and when you find one that works stick with it.

I keep my aga upright 90% of the time but when it does stay on its side its never for long, slight tilts don't seem to bother it either and I do have a screw out to balance the pressure. I think the key is just not prolonged time horizontal, I mean I've let mine sit for 10 min before with no real problem of course if it did leak it stayed in the cap and drained back down.

Edit: I do carry my Genny to work it stays in my shirt pocket, so that it stays upright.
