So I have a MVP V2, with a helios rda and a patriot rda, but im looking to get a mech mod. I dont have much money to spend, unfortunately. I got my MVP from 101vape, so I looked there again.
I am seeing a lottt of clones for good prices. So my question is if its a good idea to get a clone or not? Or any specific recomendations?

My personal favorites are (in no particular order) HCigar, EHPro, and Infinite. The first clone I bought was a Nemesis clone, and it's still one of my favorite mechs.

Although I'll say that personally I could live without the copied logos (although I have clones that have them) I think clones are a perfectly acceptable way to try out mechs and rebuildables at a budget price.

I did it to try things out to see if I'd stick with it. Although I do own originals now, had I found that I did NOT enjoy mechs and rebuilding, I'd have been out only about $50 rather than over $300 if I'd plunked down the cash for originals.

I think the choice would be up to you. As already mentioned you don't have much money so a good clone is not a bad thing. Check around ECF & do your homework so you don't wind up buying something that wasn't too good to begin with.
