I just wanted to let you guys know that I probably won't be around much this week. Unfortunately my nephew passed away over the weekend....here's to hoping his brother found him...I'm sure he did...

It's been a rough couple of years for my family. Losing both of my nephews has been really hard on all of us. It's a real shame that two kids with such potential are no longer with us. Unfortunately my nephew's best friend went with him too....I really feel for the kids to have to deal with the loss of two friends on the same day....
I hope they can stay strong and make it through the pain....no one should have to deal with that at such a young age.
If I've learned anything in the last two years it is that I am a stronger person than even I knew....I hope that the rest of my family can make it through this...my dad unfortunately took it really hard. I'm trying to stay positive and remember the good things although it's hard to remember the good things and not be sad.

Hey sweetie, sadness is a part of it and there's nothing wrong with that at all. 50 years from now, you'll think of your nephews and the sadness will still be there and that's ok. My brother took his life several years ago after a long 7 year battle with Guillain-Barre syndrome that he contracted after a bout with the flu. To this day, I laugh when I remember some of the silly things he used to do and cry when I think about him being gone.
