I have had to change wicks after two tanks and some I vaped 30 to 40ml and changed it just because I can. If it tastes burnt it has to be changed so it is up to you and for you to know when. CHEERS!

When your wick goes south you will know. It will give you notice and you can still vape the rest of the day.you just may have a little gurgle or a small leak but usually it does not just stop vaping. Hope this helps.

I usually only rewick if a. It's dark and the liquid is starting to taste bad or b. A flavour I just used is strong and isn't bturning off and is affecting the flavour of whatever new juice I put in.

Generally speaking, if my wick is light coloured and the liquid tastes good, I let it be.

Very Cool. Changes tanks totally. You can get them vaping how you want them to. I rebuild all stock coils as well and make them a lot better. Went to a dripper event two weeks ago and all the drippers were stunned and watching me commenting how I was getting bigger clouds with tanks than they were out of drippers. There is no limit how far you want to take it. You can help lots of people here also now. CHEERS!

I only rewick and dry burn when I can taste the slight burnt flavor. I use alot of dark, sweet jucies. I like coffee, and now I am vaping a chocolate peppermint that taste like a peppermint patty and I am sure the coil will gunk up fast as it is dark and sweet. My coils last quite awhile just dry burning and rewicking them.

One of these days, when I recoil with a rebuilt, I'll take a 10 sec hit vid inside a car with a turbo Evod on a iS 30 at about 4.1 v. I can mostly cloud out the front two seats with an Evod. (Turbo's = 1 vent hole drilled out with a 1/16" drill and rewicked with Rayon)

When the wick is soo dirty all I can taste is soot or the wick is affecting flavor. I clean or change it.

No Stainless wicking times:
Since I vape NET juices, that happens every 24hours or less, in my Kayfuns.
I can get about 48 hours out of my squonker. Don't know why, cause the same atty, run as a dripper, gunks in half the time.

Then there's stainless, used in my Sat22 Geni. When I get it running good, it lasts for days. For me most times I get hours. Got 4 days out of my Squonker once, but that was probably cause I was getting so many dry hits.

If it's vaping good and looks okay I will leave it be. If it looks and or tastes nasty I will change it. Also will change if I'm changing flavors.
Helps to practice too though. I used to be hesitant, cause I was worried it wouldn't be as good as the last one.
I've now gotten to where changing only takes a few minutes usually. Or if I'm trying out a new way.
