hello, i am new to posting on EFC but not too new to e-cigs.

I was reading another thread on EFC about safety & over dose. At first i got scared i was vaping too much, then after a bit of math & assessing how i feel i am now worried about not vaping enough. I haven't had a cancer stick in over a week. [i am around a lot of smokers so i want to keep the cranky beast and cravings down to a min] but i also vape CONSTANTLY atm on 18-24mgs nic levels.

then i started reading about nicotine levels in the mindset to stock up on supplies... [it's literally taking over a week to get my juice, what if there is even further delay someday??!]

I had tried other e-cigs at length, and the reason i finally quit smoking is this lovely, beautiful, all flavorful e-juice. I adore it, and turn my nose up to regular smokes now. for me, the flavor is all the difference.

to the point, I read that nicotine levels decrease with time. like... a cartridge i load in the am, won't still be 18mg doses by 4 pm. Following this logic, isn't steeping just letting a bunch of my VERY important nicotine evaporate ?????

if these taste yummy enough now, i'd rather not loose my all precious nicotine. I mean, I am putting my juice in a box & in the coolest place in the house to keep the nicotine "safe".

HELP!

Over the edge...
I seriously doubt that there will be any difference in nic level between the am and pm of the same day, week or month. Why do I say that? I have some juices that are six months old and I can't tell any difference from the new juices of the same flavor EXCEPT that I think that the juices that I've had a while taste better. I finally believe in steeping after much disbelief. Keep the cap on and your nicotine is not going to evaporate.

I have read on the board somewhere that the nicotine will decrease if opened. I don't know where I read it or it it's accurate so don't take my word for it.

I just put mine in a box in a cool place. I don't open it or anything.

I've found (for me) that juice I like seems to get a little better. Nasty juice stays pretty nasty. I've never had a horrible juice turn great with steeping. This may be true with tobacco juices or more complex juices. I mostly vape fruit flavors or menthol/mint and they usually taste pretty good to me as soon as I get them.

Last week madvapes email had a bunch of examples using the same juice exposing them to dif. Temps. And light conditions, you could clearly see the difference. The juices exposed to light or higher temps such as sitting in a car were significantly darker. Something is happening and I believe the examples were left out 24 hrs. It doesn't take long for nicotine to change. I've noticed this happen in unflavored vg liquid. It isn't the vg I store that in a clear bottle left in a metal cabinet. It has to be the only other ingredient, nicotine that is causing this reaction.
