The bottle of Turbosmog I just received is clear. Is that weird?
EDIT: TBH the flavor reminds me of atty primer. Could the flavor have not been added somehow?

Hey Dr. G, I believe that your order was from a brand new batch, which is why it may have not darkened yet. You may have to let it steep for a while for the color and flavor to come out. I will look into it further, but it's nearly impossible for the flavor to not be added as this is a pre-mixed liquid. I will let you know if I find out anything else about this. Please keep us informed if the color does not begin to show up over the next few days.
Ok after some consideration there is certainly some flavor in there, it's just a little different and I will have to get used to it. What do you think is the timeline for darkening and flavor development?
Right now it is kind of reminiscent of car exhaust, a kind of oily, slightly sulphuric/garlicky taste. A little bit disconcerting, but it does seem to live up to the name so far lol

Yeah, the turbosmog is one of our love it or hate it type of flavors. I don't really care for it, but we have many customers that swear by it. If yours came from a new batch like I think it may have based on your description, it may take a week or two for the flavor and color to really come out, but it depends on temperature and oxygen exposure as well.
Well I recieved the 60ml pg Dunhill Eliquid, 10ml pg Gold Dunhill, and a sample of Mild Seven which I think is also pg based. I did try them all briefly. Disappointed in myself cause I didnt realize dunhill was a pg base. All the others I have seen elsewhere are vg based and I never thought to look under the vg liquids section when placing my order. Im actually pg intolerant. I can handle small amounts but more than say .3ml and I get crushing headaches. Oh well about $30 of "my bad" I guess.
Nevertheless I saw this thread last night and figured Id report back when I got my order today. I heard great things about the reg dunhill. To me it tastes like nothing more than a perfumey RY4. Nothing like the reviews Ive seen. Ive taken the cap off and am going to let it sit overnight. I love dunhill cigs so I was really disappointed. Its nothing like a dunhill imo. And yes, I absolutely realize nothing is even close to the real thing in liquid form but you usually might find a sjmilarity. Here there was none. Just a "hmmm... smells and tastes like that ry4 I had before".
The gold dunhill is much much better imo. Still not representative of anything dunhill but a nice tobacco flavor vape. Worth trying.
The Mild Seven is interesting. I got a bit of a perfumwy/chemically taste here too but not as bad as the reg dunhill. Ill try it again in a day or so.
Two things I learned in this experience. A make sure you always ask if its pg/vg when the site doesnt expressly list it on the product page. A separate category for vg is nice but its not apparent if the info isnt on the product page for every product. Second, never order a large size if you havent tried it before regardless of the reviews.

Maybe I got a bad batch cause I tried some again today and its horrible. Seems worse somehow but its still sitting uncapped for now. Its nearly unvapeable regardless of it being pg.
no dr g, the thing im saying is that the regular dunhill I recieved tastes and smells like some kind of chemical, not a flavor. Initially I got a more kind of really strong floral type ry4 flavor. Not the caramel kind of ry4's but the rosey type. Now it just tastes like some kind of noxious chemical. I thought uncapping a couple days would help. it seems to have made it worse.
The other juices are fine, still a little odd tasting and chemical like aftertaste, but not bad.
Either way Im throwing it all in the trash and unfortunately my purchases in the future wont include flavors or bases from mfs. I know alot of people love em, but I seriously dont know whats wrong with these.

I've already tried the "us red" and ry4 from mfs ( among others lol ) but nohing that resembles V2's platinum red yet ( which I like, alot ) , does mfs have a juice that compares? V2 is too pricey at $18 for 25 ml

The color would be about the same as the ry4...maybe ( if anything ) a tad darker.... TH is pretty strong, but it's not a harsh TH....taste....hmm...in one of my orders I got a free sample of " us red 24 mg " that tasted awfully similar, but I've ordered some " us red 18 mg" and it doesn't taste anything like it.... So idk, I wouldn't think that little difference would change the taste that much too me, unless maybe the 24 mg sample had " steeped" longer? I did use the 24 mg in one of my used V2 cartos, but I used the 18 mg in my lava tube I just got, maybe that had a little to do with the taste difference
Edit- as far as a review, my gf LOVES ( <---- can't emphasize this word enough ) your strawberry cheesecake....she won't put it down and refuses to try anything else..... I tried it, great flavor, but I like a strong TH and that flavor doesn't really have it ( but in its defense, I think a strong TH would not mix well with the intense flavor )

Yeah, the 24mg sample had likely steeped longer. We make up several hundred bottles at a time for samples, which usually lasts us about a week so it may have already sat around for a few days before we sent it out to you.
