Does anyone know whether there is any such thing as tobacco flavoring, such as Dunhill or Marlbro? Or, is DIY limited to making flavors, like caramel?

Has anyone tried mixing say 24 Marlbro with PG and caramel flavoring? I am wondering whether this combination would work to easily DIY/cut 24mg juice down to 6 mg liquid?

My goal is not to "quit" nicotine all together, but to reduce to a low level over time.

At this point I am not thinking in terms of making the optimal liquid in terms of cost or quality, I am thinking emergency supplies in case of a ban.

I just got 60ml because it was WAY more cost effective this way even if I don't like it.

I chose the "Marlborogh" flavor. I hope it is good! 10-20% is what is stated like LorAnn flavors...

I am on a tobacco kick right now and have burnt through all my HIGH MLB carts that came with all my kits.

If you have a scatterbrain: diyflavorshack seemed to have a bunch of stuff (Tabacco flavor, DunHill, and one other). but the site is the worst organized site I have ever been trying to purchase from. I hope you can navigate it... or even figure it out. (No offense diyflavorshack, just even with support via 2 e-mail MSGs I was still lost and I have been on these nets since before 1996.

FlavourArt makes tobacco flavorings. They are very, very strong- 1% is the recommended amount per batch. There is also Seedman's Tobacco flavorings. These are used by home tobacco growers to enhance the flavor of homegrown. It is what commercial tobacco producers use to make their batches flavor consistent. E-juice makers use them to make tobacco flavored ejuice. Some clever individuals make flavor eliquid by using snus steeped in PG/VG like one would use a teabag in hot water to get tobacco flavor [discard the snus bag and use just the liquid of course].
A quick forum search has oodles of threads related to making tobacco flavor. That's how I found out about them.
I hope this is helpful.

Good luck Oldlady! Just got my DIY kit from diyflavorshack and mixed my 1st tiny batch with the flavourart from happyvaper. They weren't kidding about the 1% or less caveat- that is some strooooooooong flavoring! Its great we have so many brave & clever souls who we can lean on for their experience. I also learned mint flavor is handy when you make an icky tasting batch!

I get all my stuff from DIYflavorshack and I also purchase marboro and caramel and mix them together and makes one heck of a great flavor.

24mg tobacco
80/20 vg/pg (helps thin the VG down a bit)
caramel
marboro

makes me smile :)
How much marlboro and caramel did you use? I so want a good tobacco flavor. Been searchin for a long long time.

There's DIY, then there's do it yourself DIY, then there's do it yourself with a little help from done by someone else...depends what you're looking for really..

Here's a post from sjohnson in the'Tobacco flavors in the US' thread..
If or when I get my hands on the Flavourart I'll be having a go at this one.

This thread inspired me to work on a recipe. My son and I generally like the Mboro *except* for an overtone of a sour taste. Coming back home after work, the house smelled of it as well.

I bought the seedman commercial, honey, VA fire cured and licorice "flavors" and bingo! The sour we don't like is exactly the VA fire cure.

I've mixed a recipe that has tobacco tones much like the Mboro but without the sour flavor.

For 30 ml:

7 drops flavourart burley
2 drops flavourart virginia
2 drops flavourart desert ship
2 ml seedman commercial

The balance is your choice of PG/VG/PGA, but we like

10 ml 60 mg PG NIC
10 ml VG
5 ml PG
5 ml PGA

Tastes like we want the Mboro to taste!

smonomo,

Thanks for quoting me. Please anyone, if you try that recipe and think I'm off the mark, let me know.

BTW, the flavourart tobacco series all taste like tobacco. But nothing short of burning tobacco will taste *exactly* like tobacco, unless someone wants to bottle the carcinogens and vape them, too!

BTW, to get the "sour" taste WE don't like, reduce the PG by one ml and add one ml of seedman Virginia Flue. Everyone has different taste and the VF might be what's missing for you.

Does anyone carry a B&H flavor. It is by far my favorite tobacco flavor vape. What eactly is B&H anyways? I went to the Benson and Hedges website. They say it is a blend of Virginia tobaccos (Thank you John Rolfe for coming up with with sweet Virginian weed) made for Prince Albert. I have tried a couple of "Virginia" flavors, and they aren't quite right.

I'll be picking up some of this with my next order..

Benson & Hedges - $0.00 : StrictlyEjuice.com, Flavor Shop!

edit: oops!...I think you're looking for flavoring, not ready made?

I recently saw B&H on a site, with a detailed description of the flavor, I don't remember if it was for flavoring or juice, and I don't remember the site.....so what good am I! .....I could go through my bookmarks, but that'll take about three days.

Um.. Thanks, Smonomo LOL :)

No seriously, thanks. Ten bucks for 30ml at that site is the best price I've seen. I've been paying that for 10ml at Modern Vapor. At that price it will be worth a try, and I wouldn't have to DIY. $30 a month is better than $90 a month. I just hope it's as good. I have tried B&H from other vendors and it didn't quite cut it for me.

I still want to know what makes B&H better than the other flavors I've tried, though.
