Ok, so i'm getting my in-laws started on e-cigs and i asked them what flavors they want, my father-in-law says none of that foofy crap, just give me some thing that tastes like a marlboro light. great i'm thinking, you want tobacco and i haven't tried any of them. so i just got like 4 or 5 tobacco flavorings from PA, any one know how to mix some thing for my father-in-law? i don't really like the taste of tobacco at all, not even when i was smoking, i'm not looking forward to trying these, but alot of people like them. i like dessert when i vape lol

any help would be great

Are you looking to mix your own stuff? Or maybe you could try some different tobacco flavors from various vendors. Taste is very very subjective. What I like others hate and vice versa. One of the most popular is RY4, although I wouldn't call it a marlboro flavor. Personally I like 555 at times, and there are various marlboro mixes out there many called marlboro USA mix. You might look at these vendors.
StrictlyEjuice.com, Flavor Shop! No shipping on orders over $10, some of the tobacco flavors are placed way back on page 8.
Welcome to MadVapes LLC Madvapes have more of an assortment of tobacco flavors and only charges $3 per order over $45 and shipping is free.
I mention these vendors cause I buy from them quite a bit and am very happy with their service and prices. There are many more out there. Some offer sample packs you may want to consider, but I find that the shipping kinda kills the deal. Any juice that you do purchase and don't like, by all means don't throw it out!!!!! Leave it sit and blend for several day, or a week or two and then try it again. Flavors change with age and so do your taste buds.
If you are looking to get into the DIY thing it's a whole different ballgame, but many here can really cut down on the learning curve. I quit after 40 yrs so I hope your father-in-law has a little patience (sometimes a lot of patience) cause it's worth it.
good luck

after rereading your post I find you have already purchased DIY from PA. The info above may still help you satisfy your inlaws till you get the DIY thing down. What is it you purchased from PA?

i'm in the same boat.. justbrew. The tabacco flavor i recieved from PA -8 out of 8 folks called it rose flavor. even tastes like a rose.( can you check the smell of your bottle for me) Linda was nice enough to offer an exchange due to my purchase of a large bottle, but i kept it. as it is an interesting vape and it masked the most repulsive flavor screwups, i've done so far. heheh
The dk tobacco -is strong, but its a strange flavor to me ... more masking 8^)
Tabacco Absolute- is thick, raw, strong and smokey. even when cut with everclear and sweetened with Em - it was too raw and smokey for me.Though i bet it would fit the ol man's ides of smoke. heheh. i bet there is a stunning recipe for TA somewhere on this site. But i'm too busy trying and enjoying all the namby pamby fruity/floral flavors 8^)
The Tobacco blend is what i am playing with as i write this. it seems to have a nice smokey flavor, but it seems to be missing something (kind of a raw end note). any folks out there that have a nice recipe for PA's tobac flavoring, i would love to try it, also. thanks in advance.Walt
now back to vaping my rosy peach & blueberry 8^)

Y'know - when I started - I said the same thing.. :)
But now I like foofy crap! (Sneak one in one him after a bit!)

My 'Tobacco' is a Scubabatdan modification, which is a Kate's Modification.. But it works....
2 Sludgy Drops of Tobacco Absolute
1 ml of Ethyl Maltol Crystals
20ml of Everclear

10ml of Caramel
10ml of Hazelnut

Makes 40ml Flavoring
2ml Tobacco with 7ml PG/VG/Nicotine

I found a cheap sneaky way to make alot of the TA flavor without everclear that is consistent everytime, Order 16oz of the Ethyl Maltol (Cotton Candy) from Linda along with 2.5ml of TA. When they come in heat both in a bath of hot water, (hot tap water) not boiling. Let em soak for about 5 min. Then pour the TA that is now a thin liquid into the 16oz bottle of "Cotton Candy" (EM), cap it and shake the heck out of it. You will now have 16oz (approx 500ml) of Tobbaco flavoring. I then cut this wil seedman commercial flavor 50/50 concentrate and use at 10% to my unflavored juice. You can then add accent flavors like hazelnut or caramel, peanut etc...

Hope this helps
Dan

Edited 32oz to 16oz

Jees.. Okay - next time I will mod the "Sludgy Drops" and warm the TA! :) Duh!

(And what would I do with half a liter of Tobbaco?!?!? I mix my stuff in 30 ml quantities, tops!) :D

LOL, oh sorry I mix by the liter... so... ummm you would have enough for freinds and families and their friends and families :)

so 3ml of flavor per 27ml juice = 30ml
475/3 = 158 bottles of 30ml juice! YAY!
Dan

Dan you're always right on top of things and I love ya for it. As you can see you have reached my most favored author status. Thanks again.
For the rest of the contributors I do thank you also. You have archived a spot in my to try list ,for what that's worth. As you can see It is worth something to me as it's saved to my HD. I thank y'all for sharing. Usually I save the author to everything, but unfortunately I missed a couple and would still like to thank em for their generosity. If I come across them again I'll try to give them credit, at least in my own records anyway. justbrewit sure hope this helps to keep the wolves from your doorstep. I DIY for several people too, seems I worry more about them than myself. It's more than likely because of learning curve we've all been through.

Scubatdan

PA flavors
The black cherry is GREAT as is the blueberry

I just tried some of their caramel and white chocolate mixed, I am in heaven
66.3/33.3 caramel/white chocolate

I use 2 drops Guaiacol per 10ml juice.

8.5ml unflavored ejuice with 20% VG base (18mg)
1ml Virginia Fire Cured (Seedman) not concentrate
.5ml Rum Flavor (Seedman)
2 drops tobacco absolute dilute (2 drops tobacco absolute to 10ml everclear)

The Absolute at the perfumist site has a more earthy tone to it, where as the commercial tobacco from seadmans taste like more traditional processed ciggies. So I suppose it is up to your flavor. I personally use both in my blends, I use 1ml of seedmans commercial top note with 4 drops of the diluted absolute to 10ml of ejuice.

another author I missed again sorry!
Unprotect Dan’s calculator
First go to the Recipe tab and go Tools/Protection and unprotect the sheet. Enter a recipe using the percents like the others on that page. Go to the main page and on the top left choose your nic base whether it's PG or VG, put your Nic start amount like 50mg and under that target mg like 24, amount of juice you want the recipe to come out to, the amount of VG you want to use, flavor percent ect.
Look to the bottom right "select a recipe name from list -->" and choose the one you added. It will then populate the number of drops (or ml if a big batch) you need to use to make the recipe based on what you entered in the top right boxes. You MUST put a number in the Water/Vodak/PGA field for it to calculate. If not using any, use a number like .010, something really low
Now, if you are making a very small amount like 2ml with three flavors, that is so small that on the third flavor, if it has a small percentage like 10% it won't show it so you have to SWAG that. I usually make 3ml to test so it'll do three flavors for that amount.
I use 1ml and 3ml syringes. I got the 1ml ones from my vet. Tell them it's to apply flea stuff to several cats. My wife gets 4ml for a large dog and applies 1ml to each cat. A large dog would take the whole 4ml. They'll prob just give them to you. Or a pharmacy will sell them I guess in most states.

Hoosier

PA flavors
Cinnamon RedHots 90% and Ethyl Maltol 10% anywhere from 15-18% flavor is a wonderful thing

MacDiver
I used all PA flavors to a Cheesecake recipe I found. It may have been on Dan's calculator.
65% Cheesecake
5% Blueberry
30% Grahamcracker
15 % Flavor selected
I also used Dan's calculator recipe for Apple Pie and used her Green Apple in it and it rocks!! 10% flavor.

sbphotog
Juicy Fruit Gum
Makes 5ml @ 18mg
2.5ml/50 drops/50%--36mg Nic
1.0ml/20 drops/20%--VG (no nic)
0.5ml/10 drops/10%--Loranns Bubblegum
1.0ml/20 drops/20%--Loranns Banana Creme

author I missed sorry
Watermelon flavoring alone might not work for you. But add 2 drop of Cherry, 1 Drop of Pineapple, 1 drop of Vodka and some Cotton Candy and you have a Great Watermelon.

Bill77094
20% - 3 ml 100 mg flavorless nic liquid
40% - 6 ml VG
20% - 3 ml Seedman's TOB506 Commercial Tobacco Flavoring Concentrate
10% - 1.5 ml Everclear or high-proof vodka
10% - 1.5 ml ethyl maltol liquid
= 100% - 15 ml
LedGecko
Caramel Cheesecake
OMG this is sooooo yummy!
30% 36mg e-liquid
20% PG
10% Lorann Caramel
20% Lorann Cheesecake
20% Everclear

Lyndale
Strawberry Cheesecake 15mg
2.5 ml 60mg base
5.5 ml PG or VG (your choice, I like to mix things up a bit and go with 3ml PG and 2.5 ml VG)
1 ml cheesecake flavoring
1 ml strawberry flavoring

PuffinStuff Simply go to the bottom left corner of this page and you'll find a search bar. Type in Pa flavors, DK tab whatever. It's always worked well for me.

Thanks so much, I am still learning how to use the forum and all help is appreciated.

BTW
I just got my DK Tab flavoring from the One Stop DIY shop today and this flavoring is spot on! It is the closest I have ever found and I'm super excited that I can mix my favorite flavor.
