So I just recently started vaping, and the first few tobacco flavors really didn't sit well for me. I have started to move more towards citrus/bakery flavors, which works great for me and I'm enjoying my vaping experience.

Now to the problem, I want to pass on my ego twist kit to a 2PaD friend of mine who said he was interested in trying it out, great!, only problem is he wants a tobacco flavor, which I have yet to find a good one of,:(. I know this guy well if this isn't really pain free and simple he will not continue vaping for long and will go back to analogs.

We hang out every once in a blue moon so I can't keep renewing the vape bug in him, but I would really like to see him quit the stinkies for good. So my plan is to buy a 5ml bottle of every tobacco flavor I come across and once I find the right flavor buy a big bottle to go along with the egos.

I still have yet to try some of the flavors I regularly see on the site like Ry4 or the Dekang stuff, which are already on order, ATM I have:

Ry4*
Dekang Marlboro*
LiQuA Traditional Tobacco, American Tobacco, Tobacco Blend*
Eliquidusa USA mix
Alien Vapor Boba's Bounty, Red Box Full Flavor, Red Box Medium Flavor, Gorilla Juice*
*indicates in delivery

So, my question to you is what else should I order? The USA mix was horrible, I have hear great things about the Boba's and the Gorilla Juice, so hopefully they will do the trick but I really want the perfect flavor.

thanks in advance for any and all replies

Personally, I cannot say enough good things about GJ4 from GoodEJuice. It's an RY4 variant that use Naturally Extracted Tobacco (NET). I usually let smokers try this juice and they all love it. It is like an RY4 that you can actually taste tobacco with. I'm still steeping my AVE juice, so I can't really comment yet. I've been loving me some Velvet Cloud Vapor juice as well. Actually, Night Shift is the first non-tobacco flavored juice that I have ordered more of. With tobacco flavored juice, you really can't go wrong with vendors that use NET's. Off the top of my head, GoodEJuice, Heather's Heavenly Vapes, Ahlusion, and Want2Vape are some that use it. You really should check out the natural tobacco thread in the ejuice forum.

Taste is very subjective. Something that you might think tastes great your friend might not like, and vice versa.
Personally I like all three of Johnson Creek's Red Oak tobacco's-Domestic-Tennessee Cured and Silverthorn but you and your friends mileage may vary. My suggestion would be to let him read the descriptions and choose the flavors he'd think he would like.
Just my 2:2c: Good luck!

Best Electronic Cigarettes and E-Liquid - MyFreedomSmokes.com has a flavor called Red that is suppose to be the closest to Marlboro here in the states. They also have US Light which is the closest to Marlboro Lights. www.eciggie.co.uk has a flavor that is called Marlboro and its is suppose to be dead on However it comes from the UK. Can only get it in 60 ml bottles and the highest Nic level I saw it in was 18.

The Nic Level for your friend is probably gonna be the most important. I look at it like this: 48 mgs is the equivalent to Non-Filter Camel and/or Pall Mall. 36 mg is the equivalent to Marlboro Red and Medium, 24 is the equivalent to Lights and so on and so on.

Hope this Helps.

FYI, Alien Vision (AVE) has the authentic Boba's Bounty and Gorilla Juice... Alien Vapor's is a knock off.

Many find Desert Ship or Sahara Blend or Kamel (similar naming scheme) close to analogs. You're more likely to find pipe/cigar flavors and not analog flavors.

I second the Goodejuice House Brewed line of Naturally extracted Tobaccos. Aside from the GJ4, Wrangler Light would be the closest to an analog; many enjoy the bolder Patriot. Or even the High Octane from GeJ's Lab Made line.

Desert Ship is a very good tobacco flavor. I always have some in one of my tanks.

Mount Baker's 555 is also a very rich juice but I'm out of that right now...

I second this...

I still have yet to find a good tobacco flavor myself. Everything I try is nothing to what I am looking for, which is a marlboro menthol light. I tried the Marlsboro menthol light from zeus juice and it was disgusting. However my wife found that it was good.....

I chased tobacco early on but it just didn't work out. You simply can't replicate combustion, tar, and ash. You can get close to the smell of a freshly opened pack though.

I found that some of the tabacco'ish flavors were pretty good. RY4, cherry tobacco (vape dojo), rum tobacco (mbv), were much more pleasing. I prefer milder flaves though. Subtle vanillas, caramels, and some fruits like apple were really good. Mixing them together gets even better. Coffees have their moments too.

I've also realized that after vaping some of those non-tobacco flavors for long periods has pushed my tastes even further away from tobacco replicas. From my experience, I would say the majority of folks chasing pure tobacco early on move away from it pretty quickly. Especially when they find an all day vape that works.

Why don't you give him the 5ml bottles and let him decide for himself?

Personally, and frankly, I wouldn't go this far out of my way to get someone to start vaping - especially someone I only hang out "once in a blue moon" - and especially if I thought that they'd just give it up when they think it isn't as "convenient" or as "easy" as they'd like. Sounds to me like you are already anticipating his excuses to fail.

I never really understood the concept of purchasing vaping gear for someone else any ways ...just to get them to start vaping. In my experience, if people don't have any skin in the game - if it's not THEIR money they are wasting by quitting - they are far less likely to succeed.

here goes- try mobster American tobacco(google it). of ALL the tobacco juices I've tried(over 100 and counting) it is the one that brings a smile to my face and warms my heart. it is the juice that makes me positive I did the right thing by getting into vaping. others are ok but this is the "late at night, everyone else is asleep, before bed chain vape like a freight train" juice. ... and every other time of day.

One caveat about recreating the flavor of tobacco--menthol smokers are much more likely to get closer to the analog than non-menthol. If you only smoked reds or golds, you aren't ever going to duplicate the flavor and sensation of burning tobacco in a liquid. If you were a menthol smoker, you will probably come pretty doggone close.

A 1PAD menthol smoker I converted last week loves the Dekang Green Mix and says it's better than the Camel menthols he smoked.

To start with you can not duplicate the taste of burning tobacco without burning it. Can't really taste anything when you first quit smoking anyway. So no matter what you find that is OK at first will probably taste terrible in a month or two.

Probably the two most successful tobacco flavors are RY-4 (caramel tobacco) , and 555 (hazelnut tobacco), and there are a lot of variations of those two flavors around.

Since I've started vaping I've have pretty much stuck with Dekang Desert Ship/Kamel/Camel or whatever they're calling it today. However I did buy a sample of Dekang Turkish Blend and liked it pretty well and ordered a 30ml bottle. I can't do the candy/food flavors so I can't offer any advice there. I just ordered a bottle of KingPin American tobacco on the recommendation of peterforpats. I hope it's good because I've tried to "branch out" with other tobacco flavors and was pretty disappointed. Johnson Creek had the worst flavors I've ever tried so beware. I hope this helps.

Tobacco flavors are the trickiest of the tricky. Also, seems a great many of us start out absolutely convinced we need to duplicate the whole "smoking" experience but get over that pretty fast when we discover the huge number of flavors out there. Something smoking ain't got. :)

You could try small sample bottles from JC: Sample smoke juice bottles Johnson Creek Smoke Juice. They make flavors for Blu and I always liked Blu's "Classic Tobacco". You can't buy the Blu flavors (JC only makes them for Blu, they don't sell them) but "Domestic" is pretty close. "Tennessee Cured" is pretty good and I also like to mix the two.

Taste is so subjective and personal, I wouldn't order any big bottles of anything. No way to predict what somebody else will like or dislike. Just maybe some samples of different things and let him try 'em out...

Funny thing. I was a menthol smoker for years and years and years.

And haven't liked one menthol liquid I've tried. Stopped bothering with them ages ago.

    Taste. Go figure?

Been vaping for a about two months and have had the chance to turn a few folks onto it. Every time, they all insist on matching their exact brand. It is totally understandable. I do my best to get that thinking out of their head and turn them onto other flavors they enjoy. I started by using other simple flavors (coffee types and basic fruits) and loved it since day one. Totally skipped tobacco flavors.

I wonder if it hurts people trying to quit to be stuck on the need to replicate a smoke identically? How many folks here still stick to tobacco flavors after vaping for a long period?

In 18-plus months of vaping the liquid that I have found to come closest to replicating an analog is Legend (formerly Gandolf) by Heather's Heavenly Vapes. If I remember correctly it is a NET - naturally extracted tobacco. My experience with Legend was very good, really liked the juice even though I have pretty much stopped trying to replicate the exact analog experience.
